Confession Thread

You're kidding yourself. Chocolate + caramel + coconut, trumps peanut butter + chocolate EVERY TIME!

Ok today's confession..

I let 3 of my kids have a brownie for breakfast (along with their cocoa krispies of course)

Last night I drank a big red wine glass full of white wine. I used it to wash down the fudge ripple ice cream. :)

Yeah, well I went thru the Jack In The Box drive thru after I dropped the kids off at their school. That new cinnamon bun they have if pretty darn good LOL.

Bwahahaha! Oh Col, I just love you more and more everyday! LOL.
That is kind of like when I used to make martini's in everyday drinking glasses I had in the house before I got real, big girl martini glasses! LOL.

Amazing how the shape of a glass could make all the difference in the taste of a drink! (Kind of like different pasta shapes!) Cosmos taste much better in a martini glass versus a WATER glass. LOL.

I made chocolate chip cookies last weekend just so I could save part of it for me to eat raw. Well actually I made a double batch so I could keep even more of it raw, I need to have some of that, too bad I'm at work and it is at home, oh well I will find something here to eat.

Confession: I keep a bag at work that has all kinds of bad things for me to eat-mounds, girl scout cookies, reesse's pb cups, sweet tarts and pretzels for something salty.

I totally agree with your theory on the shape of pasta! My new favourite is this crazy spiral pasta (Presidents' Choice Memories of Calabria Fussilli to other Canadians out there). It's not normal spiral pasta, more like little tubes twisted tight like a slinky - my daughter calls them "Boings". I love them! My husbands like... um, arn't they just the same as any other pasta? He doesn't understand paying a tiny bit more for a cool shape. :)

I couldn't stop thinking about the cookie dough so I had to make cookies today! I won't tell you how many I've eaten for "lunch" today lol!

Can you find a photo? If they are what I think they are I LOVE those!! Cavatappi I believe?

My confession for the day:

I'm seriously considering selling my children to the gypsies. They are playing "construction trucks" and crawling backwards through the house "beeping" like big trucks to when they back up. Seriously, the high-pitched tones of their voices in unison is turning my brain to mush.
At least they're entertaining themselves, right?
Its snowing outside (gotta love April in Colorado) so I'm just lucky they're not making me play CandyLand for the billionth time.

CLOSE to those, I do have those too... here is the best photo I can find. It doesn't quite do justice to the coolness of the shape...

They call these Fusilli...but the only Fusilli I have seen before are just the regular spirals...

I'm in Ontario, and USUALLY we have snow this time of year. I'm thanking God that we have beautiful weather here! I have played more rounds of CandyLand this winter than I can count. And the worst part is, I don't know how it is I can loose to my daughter and her stuffed dog (who has to play too) EVERY TIME! Why did I buy that game in the first place?

My entire span of flooring is in SERIOUS need of a good old fashioned hands and knees scrubbing, here's where the confession comes in, it's needed the scrubbing for nearly a month! I just HATE hate hate hate hate hate scrubbing the floor, and the excema on my hand REALLY loathes it. :(
