what is one thing you are procrastinating about right now?

well a big thing is i still haven't bought glasses. my appt. was in january and i still haven't gone out and bought a pair.

right this minute. work. bleh.
 
I've got a few work things I'm supposed to do every month. Well, I now get to do both April and May's at the same time because I've waited so long. Ek.
 
Big thing: getting my eyes checked. normally I'm really good about doing it every year but I just don't wanna.

Everyday: dishes.
 
The dentist.....I haven't been since I retired in Jan 2012
today: homework for 3classes blah
 
right now - house work... haha... too much I want to scrap with! I'm also procrastinating about getting some albums done - I have groupon certificates for shutterfly expiring on the 15th... *sigh*

I'm also procrastinating on getting blood work done... I'm afraid at what will come back...
 
Getting my eyes checked. It's more of denial than procrastination. I even went to get my DD's eyes checked, all I have to do is sit in the chair and get them checked! Not willing to face the fact that I might need reading glasses soon. I'm able to read just fine, except in the early morning, where emails on my phone isn't clear until my eyes adjust. This is why I'm not too motivated to get them checked. It's just something about the first hour after I wake up. I'm fine rest of the day.

Right this minute? Need to get back to work and stop browsing. ;)
 
Just one? But there are so many!

Right this minute I'm standing at the computer instead of feeding another page into the Silhouette for a CT layout.

Long-termish, I need to go see my doctor for a tetanus booster and again a month later for a hep A vaccine for my trip to South Africa at the end of June.
 
Long term - reorganizing. I need to clean out the cabinets in our mudroom and reorganize them but I can't seem to find the motivation.

Right now - cleaning the house. Family is coming in on Saturday for DS's birthday party and I'm so tired at the end of the work day that the last thing I want to do when I get home is clean.

See a common theme here? LOL.
 
NSD stuff... I've been really distracted this week... and now I'm regretting waiting so long... Thank god for an awesome hubby who is taking Moriah to ballet and the boys to the library to get our school books for next week... so I can get some stuff done that is literally last minute... eeek!!!
 
Going to the dentist, mailing my MIL glasses back to her that she left during their visit Saturday, and folding the laundry pile that's on the couch.
 
Painting my bedroom. I took down all the picture frames and the mirror and they're propped against the wall. To paint the room I have to move my wardrobes, dismantle my bed (because my room is so tiny it is wedged in and doesn't move) and take out the chest of drawers. I had two weeks off work at Easter, a few weekends when I could have done it and today I have been off work too but I still haven't even bought the paint.

My everyday is putting my shoes in the shoe cupboard, I always leave them under the console table in the hall
 
Definitely housework... I'm a huge procrastinator when it comes to things around the house. I'm too much of a perfectionist... I don't want to do it if I can't do it PERFECT and to my standards. I have been crazy busy lately so it hasn't happened and things are a huge disaster now. Probably a lot of time this weekend will go towards house cleaning. Thank goodness I only have 12 more work days before school gets out. We're out the 22nd but I get off tomorrow for a field trip with my daughter's class. I'm looking forward to summer break this year so I can spend some time on this house of mine!

I was procrastinating on getting my hair cut until today. I finally just did it. It's been bugging me a lot and I didn't relish the idea of spending the day at the zoo tomorrow with my hair so heavy on my neck. I have super thick hair (the stylist today told me that just 1/4 of the BACK of my hair is thicker than most people's whole head of hair... not sure how much of that I believe, but that's what she said) and it gets heavy. I got it layered and thinned and probably lost a few pounds (literally) in the process. :) Now I won't mind so much tomorrow. Its supposed to be high 80's with 'feels like' temps around 90 and muggy. Blah!

This VERY minute... charging my camera battery and getting stuff ready for tomorrow... gotta go do it.
 
This year my one little Word is Simplify. One of the things I wanted to get done this year, is to go through all my craft supplies that are still in boxes from when we moved 2 years ago. I haven't started yet. I want to sort and give away what I know I'll never use...I just can't seem to start! Maybe next week....
 
So many things!

Hemming my son's tux pants for prom Saturday - I measured and pressed them on SUNDAY.

Looking for a new job. :p Scheduling my overdue mammogram. :p Going in for overdue blood work. :p Turning in the form and money for the track banquet. :p

And my house looks like a bomb blew up in here since we moved the big boy back from college yesterday.
 
Right now: organizing & spring cleaning our bedroom/closet, it's the last one to finish in the house. (we put an offer in on a house on Tuesday & we're still waiting to hear back, it's making this almost always patient lady, very distracted and antsy), along with bill paying and floor steaming in the kitchen.

Long term: dentist, Dr, diet

Getting new glasses. Reporting my lost Passport and ordering a new one. Mother's Day gifts for next weekend. Cleaing my bedroom.
 
Long term: girly bits doctor. I haven't been since my 6 week pp check up with my last baby (Nov 2009) :o

Today: making dinner....it's so darn hot right now I do not want to even move!!! :thumbdown:

My word for 2011 was Simplify. I am STILL working on it. ;) This year my word is Achieve. I want to achieve my simplified state. LOL Its a process, that's for sure.
 
What am I not procrastinating about...Mostly making doctor's appt for myself and oh yeah getting a manicure and pedicure...You would think I would rush to do something for myself but not...
 
Yup, been procrastinating on some NSD stuff too. Well, other work things needed this week, but some other events have come up and I feel like my mind is mush.
 
uni work - need to get a move on it though since it is due tonight

ironing - the same pile of clothes has been waiting to be ironed from before April 20th when my grandma left for her trip - pile must be dealt with by 5/20
 
I've been procrastinating on my spring cleaning really badly. I keep up with my day to day chores, but I have fallen behind in the heavy stuff. I read somewhere if you apply 20 minutes a day to a project, it will get done. Tonight I devoted 20 minutes to cleaning out a closet, gathered up two bags of clothes that are now too big and another bag of shoes to donate to charity and got rid of another bag of just junk. Feel better about it and may acutally be able to accomplish my big chores this way. If I can keep it up that is. LOL
