I just went to make monkey bread for the kids' afterschool snack and i can't make it! i dont have a bundt or tube pan bought yet. this gets sooOOOOO very aggrevating. thinking you have something and then you go get it and you don't. my list is about 3 pages long now. it seems to happen everyday lately. for jsut ONE day i would like to have everything i go to get. just ONE day, that's all i am asking right now! UGH :cursing:

Make it in a regular cake pan or an oven safe bowl..should work just fine. :) Mmmmm..monkey bread!

ok, i thought about that but wasn't sure it would cook all the way through. it will though? i have the butter melted and everything...LOL

manda, thank YOU!!!! i actually found a tip from a preschool mom that makes them in muffin pans so each kid has their own little monkey bread cake :) the bus jsut pulled in with the kiddos so we are off to try it :)

Yumm monkey bread sounds really good! I think we need to make some cookies or something for the big game tonight!

rotflmao!!! do a google for it.

i am making mine with pillsbury biscuits rolled in a sugar/cinnamon mix, oh first you roll it in butter then the mix and then bake. OMG soooo good :)

That muffin pan is a good idea!

advice for muffin pan, make sure you have more butter in there than just rolling them. they came out of the oven and are good but not gooey. they are a little crunchier than i like but still yummy.

Ooh, monkey bread! I used to make it with the kids I used baby-sit(before I had my own spawn). I should make some with my kids. When you use the Pillsbury biscuits it's so easy

My recipe for monkey bread is different, you use dinner rolls (rhodes frozen rolls is what I use) and you get everything (butter, sugar/cinnamon, and intanst butterscotch pudding powder) in the bundt pan and then I leave it sit overnight (and the rolls rise) and then I pop it in the oven in the morning for 30 mins... YUM!

I have a bundt pan and was just wondering why I have something that takes up so much of my so little storage space. I only make 2 bundt cakes a year at most. I'm going to go get some cans of biscuits & make some monkey bread this afternoon!
