GRR-Bought a duplicate!

AGH! I just realized I bought a kit I already owned! Oh no! LOL! Serves me right for not paying attention!!!!

Thankfully, I haven't done this yet! But it's something I can totally see myself doing since I don't check my files before I buy. Do you have any friends who scrap that you could gift it to???

I would look at the TOU... I'm not sure that's an option.

You could also try contacting the designer, they might issue a coupon to pick up something else!!! Couldn't hurt to try!!!

I'd check with the designer first, especially if you bought it here. They might be willing to help you rectify the mistake. I know several have for me when I've bought duplicates!

I don't think you can gift them. That would violate the TOU. I did that once in the past, and I pm'd the designer and she was sweet enough to give me a voucher for a different kit. You could try that. The designers here are really sweet about stuff like that.

Oh! Good to know. I've never gifted a digi kit, so I've honestly never looked into it. I suppose I figured it would be OK since she already owns the kit (so no worries of "gifting" it and keeping a copy dishonestly... know what I mean?).

I'm sure Eva will fix you up. I've been on both ends of the situation, purchased duplicates and had customers purchase duplicates. In cases where I noticed it before the customer did, I would contact them and offer them a coupon for a different product. I was asked a time or two if the purchaser could regift the kit and I was fine with that. I knew all of the circumstances though and knew who she was gifting it to, etc.

Yeah, I bought a Cindy template pack twice, luckily she was nice enough to give me a coupon for a new one. Now I try to look closer before buying again. lol

I do refund for duplicates within the first 2 weeks of purchase if you send me both order numbers

Duplicate purchases are the only refunds I give, so feel free to contact me in the future too. Eva should hook you up with a coupon since you've contacted her though.

The ones that always get me are the collabs. I never know how the kit file names are and miss it when I check my stash. So glad she got back to you! I never even thought to do that. :thumbup:
