For those with a significant other.

You know I honestly do not remember the exact first kiss with my hubby. Im sure it was on our first official date. (Burger King and Silence of the Lambs). I picked not him so its not that he was cheap LOL. We only actually dated for like two 1/2 months before we got married. That was almost 21 years ago now. March 1991

HAHAHAHA! I had plenty of time to dream about mine - picking Russ up from the airport (the weekend we were finally going to meet in person)...walking to the car to head back home, and him backing me up to the car and planting one on me. Had that one a lot :o

Instead, it was an awkward kiss on the cheek at the gate, and we were both overcome by nerves.

Neither of us can remember the kiss, though. I do seem to remember it being on my couch...I remember more the talking - so much talking into the wee hours trying to get so much in in such a short visit. Then he proposed :D

I invited him over to my apartment for dinner. Then we popped in a movie and make out the whole time on the couch!!! Both our lips were so chapped the next day!!! :D :D :D

Eh. My story's boring. I mean, it didn't *feel* boring at the time . . . But, my first kiss with DH was just sitting the car in my driveway while we talked and talked and talked after a date.

HA! I had a pretty severe case of chin rash (from his stubble). My mom thought he'd hit me!

We'd been out after a long night at the clubs in Japan, they didn't close until the sun came up, no lie.

We were hanging out in my dorm room, watching Football, probably about 7am, (Misawa was 12-13 hours ahead of the US) laying in my bed, because that's all there was to sit on and we just kissed, and then he went home to his dorm. :)

Well, a mutual friend set us up. Invited us both over for dinner without the other knowing. There were several couples there and we were the only single ones. :) After dinner and visiting with everyone, he walked me out to my car. He asked me out for the next evening and I said yes. AND THEN I planted one on him! LOL He didn't see it coming. I guess I wowed him because he took me to Red Lobster the next night.............and we saw each other almost every day since and he proposed after 2 1/2 months of dating. :D Go me! LOL

Alright K.......you are getting us to spill our guts.........we need to hear YOUR story!

you girls are all so quick! lol! boom - let's get married!

Our kiss.. we went out for a date and he was so sweet lol.. I remember I was getting ready to go home and I was nervous so I sorta punched him in the arm hahaha.. then he kissed me :)

We went to highschool together but didn't date until highschool was over. When I was 15 we both worked in a restaurant together and i had a HUGE crush on him but didn't say anything. I eventually told him I had liked him before etc but at that time I was dating someone else.. oops. I guess he liked me the whole time. As soon as he found out that I had broken up with my boyfriend he asked me out :)

i love stories like these (:

i wish i had one to share. but i haven't met the boy in person yet. so yeah. i do love how i see a few "we were only together for xx months before we were engaged/married" things though.

It was at the end of our first date. I had no intentions of kissing him. We had such an incredible, and long date. We had done so much...movie, dinner, book store, dessert, walking, etc. I was EXHAUSTED and I had a migraine LOL. And we were getting along so well, I didn't want to rush things. We were standing in the parking lot waiting for my car to warm up and chatting. It was Fall, and chilly. We were talking and he asked me if he could kiss me. I couldn't remember anyone ever respecting me enough to ask. They always just assumed and went for it. It touched me how sweet I thought it was. I said yes, and then the magic happened  Also...he is a really good kisser so it sealed the deal for me :)

Is it bad that I don't remember?! Lol!! I'm sure it was during the weekend we official became a couple. A weekend trip to Ann arbor Michigan to watch the Gophers play the Wolverines. The car we were in broke down so we got stuck in Wisconsin with some friends. It was a fun weekend :)

LOL well I was 15 my husband lived in Massachusetts at the time and I lived in SLC. He came to see his friends for the summer and decided he needed to meet me as well since we were "online dating" Way back in the day before internet when there were only BBS' (bulletin board systems). So we came to my house complete with all his buddies and we talked for a long time and went on a walk and then came back to my house. We were both standing in my bedroom and he was shaking like crazy cuz he had never even held hands with a girl before and we had a very small kiss no french kissing or anything he was WAY to scared for that. LOL and then of course things went on from there all summer and now we have been married for 16 years!

Is it bad that I don't remember?!

I hope not!! I don't remember either!! :D Oh dear, this is bad.

I'm totally claiming baby amnesia. I have absolutely no recollection of our first kiss. I remember our first meeting, our first date, our first...other things (:D) but not our first kiss.

these stories are SO cute! I <3 them, they are making me smile and I needed that today, so ty :)

My dh and I had our first kiss when we were 16. I was dating his best friend and he was with another girl and we met at a party and could absolutely not deny the attraction we felt to each other. It is still the same. We kissed, he told his best friend I was his and gave his date money for a cab lol. 21 years ago now! Married for 14 :) We did not marry for awhile til we were 23 ... we wanted to be sure it would last forever and there is no such thing as divorce for us.

We were hanging out for 3 months or so - he told me flat out that he didn't want a girlfriend - just someone to "get stupid with"... whatever that means... so I think it was Dec 26 or 27... he came to my house to help me set up my new Bose stereo (I borrowed $$ from my great aunt so that I could get the stereo as something for Dave to help me put together... and I "forgot" some cords at my mom's house... so we had to go there - it was just rouse just so that my mom could meet him - Dave totally didn't know until after we were married that it was a set up... hee hee...).

It was in front of the tree... and I'm pretty sure I was the one who went in for the kill and kissed him... Rascal Flats song was playing in the background - but you would have to ask him which one... it's the one where they are at that airport... haha

And then he went 5 months without putting himself in a position to be kissed again... apparently he was scared about his feelings he was having for me - he always planned to always be single... hee hee... but I got to him!!

He makes me laugh like nobody else ever has and that is one of the qualities I would absolutely have to have in someone I was with. I am way to serious and get stressed way to easy so him being the opposite and always one to joke around kinda evens me out. We had lots of ups and downs and even a time when we were seperated for a year but we always came back to each other. Now I know without a doubt he is the only man I would ever want to be with.

you girls are all so quick! lol! boom - let's get married!

I know it was April.... 10 years ago! And I think it was in my apartment on the couch, but I'm not sure. If it was there, we had probably just been talking for awhile. I don't remember much either apparently. :)

He had been my best friend for months before and we had some classes together and already spent a LOT of time together. I just needed it slow or it would have scared me off. We were engaged a couple months later and married a couple months after that!

I actually have a picture of mine & hubby's first kiss! And it was in front of a couple of hundred people. Our first kiss was on our wedding day when the preacher told him to kiss his bride! I was SO nervous! It was my first kiss ever & he was super sweet about it since he knew I was so nervous. Just a sweet little kiss. But, the second one, after we walked out of the auditorium, that was a good one! LOL :D

& I love hearing all these stories.

Yeah......we were quick. We were engaged for a year though! LOL I just knew. We even said the LOVE at like week two. No joke. Our connection was unbelievable and he had all the qualities I was looking for. There was no denying it. I didn't even want to wait a year to get married and really he didn't either. We were just trying to get some debt paid off before marriage so we didn't have that baggage to hand each other.

So many cute stories!

We both knew a friend in Denmark over the internet (actually a template designer I CTed for). One day she decided to set us up via chat. It worked because while he was so much younger and in Nothern Ireland, he was shamelessly flirting with me. Having most men acting intimidated, it was such a nice change. Two or three month later I was in a plane flying over for our first date.
The date went horrible. LOL We had eaten too much of a sandwhich and Milkshake over the day and then were both sooo nervous. He had picked one of the best Restaurants in Belfast, but we felt like our stomachs were sealed. and it was Sushi! Raw fish? That would not have been pretty. ;) So we just had starters and I finally admitted, I would just like to get back to my hotel and maybe relax and watch some TV. We watched some British stand-up comedy, lay on the big bed together and let's say we took it from there...

We're not married (yet!), but he moved to Germany and in with me one year ago.

you girls are all so quick! lol! boom - let's get married!

Um, yeah. Guess I should have mentioned -- We met in January . . . had our first date in February . . . were (unofficially) engaged in March . . . were engaged (officially - you know with the ring and all that jazz) in April . . . got married in August.

Almost 12 years now.

He took me to the boring movie just so he had privacy! LOL

Met/interviewed him on Dec 9th, I said yes to get married to him around Dec 27th, got officially engaged on Jan 16th and married on Jan 21st! :) Been married for 21 yrs! :) Can't remember the date we went to the movie, but must be in January. Because I didn't see him again before Dec 27th after our initial meeting.

Before more questions pop up.. ours was arrange marriage, where my family lined up 5 guys for me to interview, I was to pick whichever I liked. If I didn't like any of those 5 guys, they would've extend their search and bring me more selection. ;) My dad's first screening was that the guy must have a good education(he preferred engineering degree) and came from good family. Rest was up to me. Before meeting DH, I had never even heard of him or knew him. My cousin's wife knew my MIL and that's how we got introduced.

Aw such sweet stories!

My bf and I had been working together for almost 2 years and we both became single within a couple months of each other. I started flirting with him and finally asked him out - it took him weeks to finally say yes! lol

He was always against dating coworkers - and doubly so with me because I'm the boss's daughter! So he didn't take it lightly at all and when he finally agreed it was because he knew that he really did like me for reals and that our relationship could work in the long run... All of this decided before the first date LOL He didn't tell me this until much later though.

So we went out to dinner (after I was half an hour late - he waited...in the rain...without a complaint! ;)) We ordered our food and then mid conversation he leaned over and kissed me! After dinner we sat in the car talking and makin out until the security guard kicked us out hehe!

We saw each other every night for more than a week and he told me he loved me after 2 weeks. I told him he was crazy and that he didn't love me yet! haha Turns out he really does ;)

3 years later and we're moving in together next month!

I was 16, he was 18 - still in high school but at different schools. I had spent the evening at his house and we had watched The Lion King. I remember it so well, we snuggled on the couch, he was playing with my hair and we kissed just before he walked me back home. We officially moved in together when we left our parents' houses a couple of years later, in 2001, had three babies and finally married in 2008. So we've been together almost 15 years.

Our first kiss was on our second or third date. He was getting to leave my house and we were standing inside right by the kitchen. It was that awkward moment where you think, "is he going to kiss me? Do I even want him to kiss me?". My husband is rather shy and isn't a smooth moves type of guy. So the first kiss was brief and I didn't think there was a lot of chemistry. LOL But something went right after that because we got engaged about 2 months later and married just 5 months after that first date. We will celebrate our 13th anniversary this August.

Uh oh....I don't remember ours either. I will have to ask DH if he remembers. LOL

These stories are so awesome!!

Well DH kissed me for the very first time when we were in 4th grade :o - on the cheek after I hit a home run during kickball at recess - LOL

Our first real kiss was when I was a freshman and he a sophomore. He was on the football team and I was a cheerleader (can we get any more cliche?!?) I can still remember it perfectly after all these years - we were in the football equipment office talking with a bunch of other kids and they all left and I was sitting on one of the big old wooden desks and he was sitting in a rolling chair in front of me. He just all of a sudden stood up and kissed me. I can still remember how I felt and I was shaking and couldn't speak afterward  LOL That was 35 years ago and we would have been married for 28 years this year.

these are great...I met my husband in a bar in the Navy ....yep that cliche :D and I am pretty sure our 1st kiss happened just hanging out in that bar and he just planted one on me!!! I just remember feeling tingly all the way to my toes! that was Aug 1991!!!! We moved in togeter, I got pregnant, we got married all in the same year (1991) and for somebody who was never going to marry a Navy girl and have kids....I sure changed that:p 20 years of marriage later and 4 kids down the road!!!!

Andrew and I met online, too. Our first kiss happened the day we met in person for the first time. He picked me up at the airport, took me to eat then back to his house. He'd told me he had a surprise for me, I was just hoping my mom was wrong and that it wasn't some chainsaw/axe-murderer thing. :D Anyway, we walked into the house and there was this oversized stuffed elephant on his dining table. I gasped, turned around and kissed him. No joke, it was his first kiss...ever. He was 31. We were married less than four months later, five months and one day after we met online. Our tenth anniversary was last week (3/22--also his birthday).

I think this is just about the sweetest story ever :)

I'm not at all sure. It was 23 years ago and I was probably drunk. DH was a coworker in a pizza place & the whole shift went down to the basement bar when the place closed. A coworker from a different store was hitting on me and not taking no for an answer so I threw myself at DH in self defense. Did I kiss him as part of it though? I cannot recall. I'm guessing I probably did since I can't imagine anything less would have dissuaded All Hands Charlie. But a bunch of us, included DH went out to Denny's after the bar closed & possibly I kissed him then instead of earlier. There is an outside chance it wasn't until we went out together on a date a few days later.

DH and I had been out 2 times and our 3rd date was a day trip down to New Orleans. It was a perfect day and he kissed me for the first time ever outside a little Italian resturant in the French Quarter. It was really perfect and romantic..like something in the movies. I miss those days when he was all romantic and stuff. We were engaged about 9 months later and married about 6 mos after that.

I will add though that one thing about deployments is that you kind of get to have first kisses all over again when they come home ♥

The first time I met my husband, I thought he was a jerk and told him. He countered by asking me out and so I thought he was an even bigger jerk. I was in college at the time and worked as a bartender to pay my expenses and he began coming into the bar every night. He asked me out for three weeks straight and I said no. Then I went out dancing with a group of friends, his little brother was my close friend, and he tagged along. A dude got a little fresh with me and he took care of it, I got a little drunk and he took me home and then he asked me out at the door. I don't remember saying yes, but he was there to pick me up the next night, took me to dinner and a movie and was totally sweet. He kissed me good night at the door and it was so unexpectedly magical I do remember saying oh $hit and he laughed and kissed me some more. We were married three months later, 2 months after that I was pregnant with our son and 5 months later he was killed in an accident. In all total we had ten months together, but they were so awesome. We would have been married 21 years now. Sometimes it feels like it never really happened and other times it seems like yesterday. :)
