Jeff's surgery

keeping you guys in my thoughts...and I am like Debra, I would much rather have a epidural than a catheter....and I cannot believe they told him that....

I'll be thinking of you and your family! As for telling him it's one of the most painful surgeries, really? He just didn't need to know that. If they really needed to tell him, at least they could have given it a positive spin, like "It's a painful surgery, but you don't need to worry because we're very good at controlling pain through x, y, z." I hope they're able to keep him comfortable over the next few months as he recovers.

Yes. Exactly. he's totally freaked out now and I want to smack someone. :cursing:

Good luck and prayers coming your way Sara. And prayers for calming thoughts for Jeff (and you) in the next day/hours before surgery.

Praying for you all - wish I could be there to lend you a hand and an ear. We are all here if you need us. Sending positive thoughts your way.

Just checking in to say that I've been thinking about you & your husband today. Hope his surgery is going well and that he is on the road to recovery.
