I just made a smart collection in Lightroom that collects all of the previews of products from the current SSD designers... and there are 1000 (exactly) of them :blink:. They include everything I have from each designer including their parts of quarterly assortments and freebies. But, really, 1000 products?? No wonder I've been having a hard time scrapping lately, I think I'm overwhelmed with the choices I have. I guess need to just grit my teeth and hit "delete".

I already had all my previews tagged with "preview" and my kits are all sub-tagged under the designer's name. I just added the (SSD) after the designer's name and made the smart collection search for "preview" and "(SSD)". I'll probably make another that's just the SSD kits since I'm not as concerned about the templates and other things and I don't really want to have to wade through all the other stuff when I'm looking for a kit.

I organized my stuff (also using just previews) in Lightroom last year and the system is still working for me! Even better, and it's really weird, but I LIKE organizing in Lightroom and don't consider it a chore, lol. Maybe because it's not so ridiculously complicated?

interesting...I just got lightroom and have been using Bridge to keyword my stuff....hmmm. Thanks for the info.
