So I'm trying to paper scrap...

I want to put a quick thank-you album together for my son's Cub Scout den leader. They will be crossing over to Boy Scouts in a week and nobody has done anything about a gift. We started talking about it a couple of months ago, but never really decided anything. So, this morning I decided to make a mini-album. I'm just going to put one photo of each boy in it, with the facing page being a thank-you note from that boy. I could digi-scrap the pages, but I have a ton of cub scout paper from my paper scrapping days and I'd love to use it up, so I decided to do the album in paper.

Well, I'm finding that I'm totally spoiled by digi :). I caught myself thinking about resizing one of the papers and flipping another horizontally - totally doesn't work that way with paper supplies :p. I <3 the flexibility of digi!!

LOL, Darcy!

One thing I hate about paper projects is how much paper you waste and how quickly you run out of the ones you need. Drives me nuts!!!!! Good luck on your album!

oh, I know!! Totally spoiled on digi, here too... I'm always looking for the clipping mask! haha!

What's the saying "once you go digi you never go back". lol. :) I tried to paper scrap a few times but it just didn't feel right anymore. I kept thinking that "Well how am I going to add shadows?". LOL.

Ah... yes. I know that feeling! I give up. I let my daughter use my paper supplies.

I've given most of my paper supplies to the art teacher at my son's school and to the MOPS group at church, but I still had the cub scout papers and figured that it would be easier (and thriftier) to use them than to print out my digi supplies. ;)

heheh I still have tons of paper supplies from back in the day but they are slowly rotting away in the closet.... GL with the album Kate!
