I've been waiting for this day for a year........ Really, I've been waiting for almost 4 years. I have a meeting with the attorney tomorrow to hopefully get things going with my divorce. It's free legal aid (thus the waiting), so last year they sent me a letter informing me of this appointment. This appointment is merely for information gathering about my case (though they've worked with me 2x regaurding other matters). After this meeting they will discuss as a team whether or not they want to help me. I am desperate for this, we are desperate for this. Ce and I want to move on with our lives and really really need this to happen. There are some substantial legal issues wrapped all up in this so therefore it's not something i can simply take care of myself. Ian was supposed to come with me to the appointment for moral support- but surprise business trip to the other side of the country this week [insert a plethora of sad faces]. So please lend me your strength, and keep me in your hearts tomorrow. Ian expected me to be excited.. the day is finally here! But.. I just want to barf.
 
Good luck! Don't barf...or hold your breath, just tell your story and what will be, will be. Praying it will all work out for you girl!
 
Oh La, without a doubt you guys will be in my thoughts and prayers for as long as you're going through this. I hope with all my heart that they take your case and you can begin to move forward.
 
Yes, definitely will be praying. I hope this gets taken care of soon so you can be totally completely disconnected from he who cannot be named because there is no nice name for him that wouldn't make Robin block me from the forum.

Sending you all the hugs and thoughts and prayers and non-barf vibes I have, La! You and Ce totally deserve this . . . to be able to move on with your lives. I'm sure it will all work out, even if it takes a lot longer than it should. In the meantime, you have all of us - you are loved!
 
Praying for you!! May all this be a past memory in a year and you and Ce can move on finally, so sorry you've had to wait so long!!!
