Ok..this is becoming ridiculous. Carly in the bottom 3?? I'm bowing out of guessing from now on..LMAO!
 
I think everyone was surprised by Carly being there :confused: - even the judges. I was getting really worried at my guesses most of the way through the show :blink: - I only got one name right, LOL (it just happened to be the most important one)!
 
Wow.... just wow!!! I cannot believe Kristy is still here and we have to listen to that painful torture again next week! (Although I'm not a fan of Amanda either and figured she would be gone in the next couple of weeks.)

WTH - why was Carly in the bottom 3??? There were others who were much worse....
 
Well..my guess is that Kristy falls into the "popularity contest" Simon was talking about last night. Ridiculous!
 
While I didn't expect Carly to be in the bottom, it does make me feel like maybe my feelings aren't so far off from the rest of America. I SO don't understand why the judges are always so crazy for her, I just think she's boring! There's no doubt she's a great singer, I just don't think she's anything unique. At least Kristy is different from everyone else, whether you like her or not, LOL.
 
I was VERY surprised about Carly but oh well...I am glad I did not change my mind and add Jason to the bottom three but I was a bit shocked that Amanda got the boot. I knew it would happen just not yet !!!!! Hopefully only 1 more week for Kristy too, I really don't think I can take her much longer !!!!
 
Yeah...Amanda was the top pick for that "Vote for the Worst" website, so I figured she'd keep squeaking by-although I *PERSONALLY* really love her-she sounds just like Janis Joplin, and I am a HUGE classic rock nut!
 
I couldn't believe the results last night either.....Carly is my absolute favorite, then David Cook and Michael (although he's pushing the boring buttons for me lately). They all fit my music "tastes". :) I'm not looking for different....it's just prolonging the inevitable for some of them (like Kristy). I think it's so funny how we all have such strong opinions on these contestants. LOL Huge mix of tastes we have here!!
 
I think Kristy did SO much better than the previous week, that I think people felt that they would like to see what she'd do next. And there were worse performances this week (though Carly's was NOT one of them). I'm not a Kristy fan at all, but what I had seen of her performance I felt was good. I do think she's one of the weaker singers, though.
 
I don't get what the big deal is about Carly, either. I don't think she is anything unique. Good voice? Yes. American Idol? Nope.

BTW, this thread drives me nuts on Thursday mornings because the title says "Caution Spoilers" and I'm DYING to know who got the boot, but no one ever comes right out and says who the bottom three are...just the points for the week! LOL! So come on, tell me who the bottom three are and who is gone in the first post!! (I have Girls Night Out every Wednesday, so I always miss the results show...)
 
I don't put who goes home in the first post because I'm on the East coast and the first to see it, so I don't want to out and out ruin it for people in the very first post if they just want to know their points standing. The caution spoilers is for the discussion part, where it usually comes out who goes home anyway.

Last night's bottom 3 were: Carly, Kristy Lee and Amanda (gone).
 
Can i just state an opinion? If somebody who hasn't seen the show yet..opens a thread with spoilers in the title..they deserve to be spoiled hehe
 
Ok America is really brain dead to keep Kristy over Amanda. I know some of you all didn't like Amanda, but she has a heck of a lot more talent than Kristy.
 
I think Kristy is this season's Sanjaya. Its like everyone just wants to keep her around one more week to see how bad she'll perform. Honestly, the girl is a HORRIBLE performer. Granted, I'm not a huge fan of Amanda, but at least she can put on a show. I knew they would both be out pretty early, but I still can't believe that Kristy made is past the first couple of rounds.
As for Carly being in the bottom three, that just blew my mind. I think she's an amazing singer and puts on a good show. I would totally buy an album of hers. I can't say that about too many of the other contestants, ya know?

Btw.... how adorable was little miss Kellie Pickler? I didn't watch her season very closely, but I remember her being a little "too" country and a bit of an idiot. But last night she was so sweet and cute! I LOVE her hair like that! I'm not a country music fan at all, but she did really great last night. I thought Simon's face was going to fall off, he was grinning at her so hard. :)

Well, I'll make it easy for you guys and post the results on Thursdays along with the bottom 3 instead of right after the show. :) That would actually make me happy 'cuz it takes a bit of work to get everything together and it would eliminate any need for a spoilers caution.

You clearly warn everyone by putting spoilers in the title!! So, keep doing it the way you have been doing it! :thumbup:

LOL, Paula. :) I learned a long time ago you can never please everyone, right?! :p It's not that much work and I either do it during the show or the next day, might as well get it done right way. I was trying to be "mindful" of other time zones in the first post, but you gals are ruthless and want your bottom 3! :)
