My 2012 calendar

I just thought I'd share how I ended up with my "clean style" London idea. It doesn't use any scrapbooking goodies, that's why the only way to do it is in a thread.

The most trouble I had was thinking up the way of getting the grid right, other than that, it was a much quicker job than usually.

This is basically what all my friends are getting for Christmas from me (I plan to let print about 30 of these), hopefully with self-made cards and some silly self-made stuff.

The images are clickable for a larger version. The black area is the bleed; that's about how much I expect to be cut off.

WOW... if I ever make it back to Europe for vacation - I totally want you with me to scope out the best places to take photos!! This is awesome - I bet you could sell this!!

Thank you, ladies! Just came back from hellish shopping in the local hypermarket (it's only mid-November, and already it's pre-Christmas-crowded), so your kind words are particularly soothing. :-)

@Rebecca: You made me giggle with the "job offer". And since I was actually aiming at a "kinda passable for selling" look, I totally thank you for the compliment. :-)

@Tanyia: Yes, I took the photos, too, during my four different London trips. All of them took place in autumn and winter, so it was pretty challenging to find some pics suitable for the summer months, since London isn't the world's sunniest place. :-)

Oh, and Rebecca - all the photos were taken with my Canon G10 - I don't know if you have already decided what to buy as your P&S, but this is an example what the G series cameras (the current one is G12) can do. I think it's pretty acceptable. The night shot has quite a lot of grain (it was ISO 400 or 800, can't remember), but I hear they fixed it for G11 and G12, and I still think it's pretty decent for a P&S (I shoot 100% manually though).
