I hate congestion. Are you on a decongestant? I'm so glad the fever is down, that's the worst. Now, at least you may feel good enough to read a book while you recover... :) hope you feel better fast, Kate!
 
I'm on Advil Cold & Sinus plus Mucinex. I seem to be doing better. The worst is, of course, at night when I lie down. Totally sucks how that works.
 
Marla, now that you have a job are you slacking on this thread? LOL! :D:D:D

Well Origami, it's becoming a legitimate excuse. I feel completely and utterly miserable.

And I'm shocked that we didn't post hardly at all yesterday! I'm sick and Marla's got a new gig...we're slacking!

No, I hope to be around more, too. Hopefully doc's calling in some meds, because this is surely a full-blown sinus/ear/everything infection now.
 
I slacked yesterday cause I had gotten a flu shot Tuesday night and all yesterday had a light flu sypmtoms, not enough to be horrible, but enough to just take me out. I had complained to hubby and told him I didn't know what was wrong with me, but my whole body ached and I was exhausted and he reminded me about the flu shot and we wonder if that did it to me. I woke up today feeling 90% better. So weird... I think flu shots are evil now...

The wind is blowing like crazy here today (30-40 mph). That always puts me in a crappy mood... especially when I can't run. On Tueday, I ran against a 15 mph wind, but I skipped yesterday. I bet I will be skipping tonight, too.

Oh and my office is so slow. The phone has rang like four times and one person has came in today. And it's already 12:30. It's nice, but I hate having to pretend I'm actually working when there is NOTHING to do. Lol.
 
Marla, I've always said that LOOKING busy is the hardest job. I used to have to do that regularly. Now we're so understaffed I don't even have time to have lunch anymore. I just eat at my desk.
 
The boss just left for the week... so tomorrow I will be manning the fort all by myself. I'm kinda excited, because I won't have to look busy. I will just be able to chill. Lol.

My interenet at home is super slow... so I've been taking adventage of the slightly faster internet here at the office to upload pictures. I'm working on getting my entire life archived on smugmug. I hope to have 2002 finished today. Lol.

I've also answered to phone twice. Busy day. Haha. :p
 
It rained here last night... really hard and I think we got about an inch of rain. Our yearly total is like three inches before this, so we are super excited. :thumbup:
 
DH and DD just went to the park and the grocery store to pick stuff up to grill this afternoon. I'm gonna scrap for a couple hours then make my first homemade apple pie. I may need to pick up Meg's new kit and scrap the recipe!
 
I am so freaking tired yet I couldn't manage to sleep in today. ugh. but at least I've done two more calendar pages and done an hours worth of work for my job as well.
 
I didn't fall asleep until 4:30 am, and was up at 7. and I doubt I will get a nap in today. sigh.

and I really can't type laying down, lol. I'm laughing at my cats attempts to get my husband to wake up. She's been laying on him for an hour, batting at his nose, licking his face, etc and he's still sound asleep
 
I hear ya on being tired, Jen. I haven't slept good all week, hoping this next week will be better, awk.

Awww, thanks for asking, Andrea. I'm a lot better, but nights are still rough. Seems when I lie down, I can't stop coughing. I want a good night's sleep so badly!
 
lets hope we all get a good nights sleep tonight!

I have 8 out of 13 calendar pages done....5 more monthly pages to do, then to just color coordinate the birthday sheets and fill them out for each family.....I think I can get them all done and ordered this week, yay!

I have only 2 finished so far but just bought KCB's newest kit and will be using that for November! (I'm not really doing this in order, to be honest! LOL!)
 
I overindulged last night and now officially feel like poop. :(

Today, I'm going to mow the yard though and catch up on my 365 pages! And do laundry. And clean up my DVR a bit. I suddenly feel like I have a busy Sunday schedule. Lol.
