I'm going to be a secretary for the local OSU Extension Office... They help the 4-H and do research with farmers and ranchers. Once again, I won't be bringing in tons of money ($11.25 an hour) but I will have something to get me out of bed everyday. And insurance! And retirement! And I'm oh so excited!

Thank you so much for cheering me on. Really, it means a ton. And I'm glad I didn't get last weeks job. This one is so much better. :)

just received a text message from my maths lecturer this morning saying our test grades were up online so I checked them while still being quite positive thinking I'd get over 80% which is the pass mark but unfortunately I only got 77% so will have to sit the test again at the end of the semester

It was a beautiful Saturday! Also, apparently a lot of football games? We drove home last night before the big away game on TV started and our city streets were empty.

Anyway, long live Darcy's thread! Thanks for saving it, Andrea! :thumbup:
 
Okay... so I totally didn't realize everything that secretaries had to do! Wow. The last lady just up and quit, too so my boss doesn't really know what and how all she did everything. This will be a learning adventure, for sure. Other than that, my first day is going great! :)

Hope it keeps going well. Take is easy and don't overwhelm yourself trying to learn EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW. It'll happen.:)
