Are you a Thread Killer? Let the Game Begin!

Hey girls! Just checking in on my favorite thread! lol

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I'm hoping to scrap, I just had 2 CT kits come out so I need to get busy! :)

I was drooling over the fall kits...

We went out tonight to get some essentials for our house so we can hunker down this weekend for Hurricane Irene so I'll be doing lots of scrapping to pass the time

Anyone else storm watching? I've lived out of hurricane country for 20 years but I'm having serious flashbacks! I hope everyone stays safe and dry!

I'm in Oklahoma, but finding myself obsessed with the news coverage. We are in a terrible drought, so I'm longing for just a bit of that rain. Fifteen inches would catch us up to our normal amount.

I'm hitting up the GGG sale again and planning on working on my 365 layouts later. Good weekend, so far. :)

I am storm watching it from my window - the worst part is coming through right now. We keep hearing stuff hitting the roof. I'll admit, I was calm but now I'm getting anxious

havent been here since my divorce approx 3 yrs give or take...thought it was a good starting point! have really missed scrapbooking and chatting and CTing and basically everything about this hobby! so hi! so glad im back!

Hey Kate, what part of Near St. Louis do you live in? I lived in Manchester for four years. We loved baseball at the time, go Cards!

Heather, I live about 10 miles (not even that, really) from Manchester! I live in Fenton. And if you haven't been in this area for a while, OMG, it has exploded!

And baseball season in the STL is amazing! Go Cards (even though they're not having the best season. We're still the best fans in baseball)

Kate, I lived there when I was a teenager during the early 80's. We moved there right after a baseball strike, so they lowered the tickets to get the fans to come back. We must have gone to 10 games that summer! We lived there when they won the World Series, good times!

am trying to stay motivated to not have the wireless internet on while working on an assignment - so far it is failing big time :)

Agreed that this was an AWESOME summer and it flew by WAY too fast!

I really could have gone another 2-3 weeks with no school! I feel like this was the first summer my kids were old enough to truly just go have fun, so I kept plenty busy partying up with my boys! (the youngest is 6 now and in 1st grade, it's really a great time to finally get to do things!).

Thought I was done with the GGG sale . . how wrong can you be!! :D Really hoping my mega-shopping helps my mojo which has been MIA for awhile (tho, bless it, the mojo did give me a fleeting visit on the weekend, then left just as quickly LOL)

Oh yes, I wandered back into the GGG sale again this weekend too. I just can't believe this beautiful kit is retiring. I decided that I would give it a good home.

I haven't scrapped with ones single GGG thing yet, and I'm probably going to buy a few more things. I'm shaking my finger at myself!
