you're like stars
Why did he decide to change wake up time ? LOL For the longest time we'd get up btwn 8-830 .. Which is GREAT, because I'm usually up till like 2am :D :D but nooo

the past two days he's been up at 630  I am sooo not a morning person kid! LOL

I have one that is a 6am guy. It's horrible. If I'm up that early I want to be alone. Not sit and answer 1938471903 questions. :p I feel your pain...

lol I try... He's very anit-quiet time :D :D Yesterday I was dying and just wanted to lay on the couch for 20 more minutes.. Went through our routine-- ok quiet time ce.. you can go play with your toys but you have to be quiet for mommy for JUST 20 minutes ok? .. Ok mom... But mom, I want you to play with me.. but mom it's nice outside you need to get up, but mom sunny is bothering me.. but mom.. but mom.. but mom...

Yeh.. It wasn't very quiet :D :D

My twins are out to get me and have been since they could walk & talk.....It has been 4 years and I am still alive, although barely!!!!! One of them (Matt) gets up and the talking starts and does NOT stop until he goes to bed...the other (thankfully) is a bit more quiet but equally trying to kill me. I am dying a slow, agonizing death from talk and fights and Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, but Mom, PLEASE Mom, why aren't you listening to me Mom???

lol... reading this all makes me laugh! i am going through this now with my 17 month old. She has been a GREAT sleeper since like 6 weeks old and up until recently would sleeps until 9 - 9:30!! BUT the past 2 weeks has been getting up at 7!! It was literally overnight that she did this too. I have no idea what happened?? Where is my sleepy girl?? lol.

My sister REFUSED to take naps when she was a kid. She once told my mom "I too busy to nap", what? You're 2! She loved to read/look at books though, so my mom instated quiet time. She wasn't allowed to get up until my mom came into her room to get her. She had to stay in the room and be quiet/read books/whatever.

If I don't have a quiet kid, I'll probably cry. I'm hopeful though, I know I was a relatively quiet kid.

Ugh my two have been doing this too! They usually get up at 8:30-9:00 and they have been getting up at 7:00 for the past week. I am not looking forward to changing the clocks back an hour cause then they will prob start waking up at 6

oh luv I feel your pain, I haven't slept since having Logan(who's 3) he still doesn't sleep his nights and insists on waking up at 4 sometimes 5am, I keep trying everything but this kid doesn't want to sleep

I'd like to say it gets easier ... but I can't! lol sorry!

it's not sooo bad for me now that I have older kiddos and younger ones. The older ones amuse the younger ones ... feed them breakfast (the teenager even changes the little ones diaper in the morning), puts a show or movie on, plays Wii with them ... all so I can get a little bit more sleep.
Mind you, mine have NEVER been early risers, so yes, I'll shut up now. lmao

I am so not looking forward to tomorrow morning. I am positive JJ will get up at 5 or something. Ugh.

Oh all my kids have gone though this at one time or another, I feel your pain!

We are up at 6:30 am normally and I'm always up until at least 12-1 am... so I've just learned to adjust to getting no sleep... LOL!

I am LAUGHING at y'all with early risers! :p I know people thought I was crazy when I didn't make my kids go to bed at 7 p.m. ever but let them stay up a bit later (8-9:30 pm). BUT they have always slept until I'm ready to get up, or sometimes later than me (usually 7:45-9 a.m.) and I love that. I have friends who get up at 6 a.m. with their kids and we meet up at 10 a.m. playdates and their kids are cranky or ready for second breakfast or what have you.

There is a method to my madness, I tell ya. But now it's even better because my 4 yo goes to sleep by 8:30 at the latest usually, and I don't hear a peep from her until 12 hours later. Recently though it's been so light at night that she's been waking up too early, so I'm glad we're "springing forward" tonight. :)

(yes, I know supposedly if you put them to bed early they will sleep later, but we never found that to be true with our kids. :))

My twins will usually sleep until somewhere between 9 or 10 sometimes....they don't go to bed until 9:30 at night though... I am not sure if that is good but it works for me. At least until later in the summer because they will finally start kindergarten so we shall see if they have morning or afternoon and decide on a good nite time routine for them.

My first two have always been late sleepers - anywhere from 8:30 to 10:00. My third one is an early bird - he's our little alarm clock at 6:30 am. We seriously don't have to set our alarm clocks! It is really awful because I'm a NIGHT OWL!!!

I feel your pain also! Both mine get up at @ 7 am everyday and like 4-5 nights out of the week Luca is still waking up a couple times.

oh luv I feel your pain, I haven't slept since having Logan(who's 3) he still doesn't sleep his nights and insists on waking up at 4 sometimes 5am, I keep trying everything but this kid doesn't want to sleep

Well we can hang out, first thing in the morning, lol. My guy gets up before the sun REGARDLESS of what time he goes to bed. It totally stinks.

I blame my inlaws, who gave him this gene and are not around to get up with him. :p
