TGIF!

Morning ladies!

What's up for the weekend?

I'm not sure what I'm doing, I think I have to run out tomorrow to pick up some material to get a few things done for the Ice Show. Other than that (that will take all day, because I'll end up shopping LOL), no clue!

Any big plans?

FINALLY!
Finally FRIDAY!

No big plans for me...I am gonna take the boys bowling, Landen has never been, so I think it sounds fun.

I'm finishing up the packing! We are moving into our new house on monday, most of our stuff went over last week as we are flying and can't take much, so I'm just gathering the last bits and cleaning up - and trying to keep to kids happy without toys, most of their things are already in the new house, so it's been a long week!

Ok, so my DH just earned HUGE brownie points. He said "why don't I take the girls tomorrow, I'm sure I can find the material you need. Then you can stay home. I know you want to go to chat tonight and you'll be tired".

FINALLY He understands!!!! LOL!!!

Awww what a sweetie!
What a nice hubby!

Wow Jamie! What a guy! Lucky you :)

My nephews are coming up this weekend and there is a local Touch-A-Truck festival going on that we're going to take all the boys too. It's really cool because they have all different types of vehicles, firetrucks, electric co trucks, police cars, ambulances, tractors, race cars, etc. that they can sit in, push all the buttons and horns and just basically have fun being curious little boys.

Ugh, TGIF for real. This week went way fast, but I'm exhausted. And I have to go out on inspections again today. It's so tiring. I doubt I'll make it to the chat tonight.

Tomorrow I need to go buy more fabric so I can finish sewing pillow covers, and I need to stop by the LSS and see if they have any chipboard that they'll give me (need it for my next altered project for Traci). Tomorrow night we're going hotel golfing to represent our company. Each company sets up a golf hole in and out hotel rooms. It's open bar, and tons of food. Jordan and a few friends have been building our hole in the garage, so it'll be fun to see it in action.

Sunday I'm sleeping. And playing guitar hero. And being a complete waste of life. :D

Nothing much here, things are pretty boring right now. My oldest son is going on a ski trip and has to be at his school at 4:45 am Sat morning so I will not be attending the chat either :( After that we are pretty much going to get the other kids to clean the basement and I have to straighten out my craft/crap room. Gotta get all my stuff back where it belongs so I can start paper scrappin again and soon!!!!!

I had a blast doing all the challenges and hope that everyone else did too!!! I must admit that I am glad it is over though ;) WOW, what a rush!!!!

No plans for me. We were supposed to go to the IL's and visit relatives from out of town, but Nathan (3.5 yr old) is just too sick. His cough gets worse whenever he goes out and since he's finally seemed to turn a corner, we are staying put!

I'm just going to spend the weekend cleaning around the house (my goodwill pile grows by the second) and organizing my scrap stuff.

DH has been gone on a business trip and will be home late tonight, so I have been stuck at home with 4 kids all by myself so I am sure that we will be out running around tomorrow. Hoping to get breakfast out too!!! Then Sunday will just be spent vegging out!!!

Friday - meaning, I got to scrap big time tonight to make sure I get all the LOs here done!
Tomorrow, DH and I are going to go over his painting job and touch up wherever he missed or wherever I need to spot him while he's on the ladder. He's been a real angel in doing nearly all the painting of the hallway, stairway and entryway (all I did was help tape and choose the color). Then we'll watch a movie together and be bums the rest of the day. Oh, and of course I will need to check out the new stuff here!
Sunday - laundry, grocery shopping, and getting some work for my job done (I hate month end closing). Maybe scrap something.
So nothing really exciting.
Next weekend, I want to try the Shutterbug challenge again and go to downtown Cincy to Findlay Market and see if I can take some cool pictures.

Leslie, I don't let my dh do ANY painting in our house because he is TERRIBLE, and then gets offended when I go over his work, lol! He doesn't even tape anything. ARGH! So, you are blessed :)

He needs to give my DH lessons..... LOL!!!

I am soooooo glad it's Friday! I have had a horrible week at work - been fighting with the boss - a lot! Next week can only be better, right?!

Can't wait for the chat tonight! Derrick has his last basketball game tomorrow and then he's going to the race track with grandma for the rest of the weekend. So, Rhett and I will just hang out, clean house, sleep and eat. DH is working Sat. so he's out of my hair then and he will probably spend all day Sunday working on his military truck he's trying to get restored. Another day out of my hair.

I really need to go to Costco this weekend but I'm not sure if I will or not. Plus, I need to get Derrick's birthday party planned. He wants to go bowling but it's $13.99 per person with a 10 person minimum - YIKES!!! (Of course that includes 1 hour of bowling & 1 hour in the party room plus 2 x-large pizzas and 3 pitchers of soda, the shoes, invites, thank you cards and empty goodie bags - so I guess it's not all that bad. However, it's also Matt's grandpa's birthday and we always do a big family party with the corned beef/cabbage thing so this could get really expensive...)

Painting is my responsibility round these parts, but I don't mind. Hubby is pretty hopeless at it and I'd rather do it myself. There's plenty of other jobs I leave to him that I really wouldn't want to do.

Jamie, that's so sweet that he's so understanding about the Friday chats and shopping sprees! Definitely major brownie points!

I have a busy weekend ahead. Tonight we're going to the Canucks game (hockey) so I won't be around for the chat.

Tomorrow I'm getting together with some very good old friends I haven't hung out with in years in our home town, about an hour away from here. Our very good friend, and brother of a couple of the guys getting together tomorrow, passed away all too young on January 1st from cancer. So we all saw each other at the funeral, and it makes you realize that all the good intentions of "getting together one of these days" are meaningless in the face of a loss like that. It's bittersweet, but it will be so good to finally get the chance to all spend some quality time together and catch up. No doubt a few more tears will be shed, but that's only because we have so many great memories together. I need to remember to take lots of pictures to scrap too!

Sunday will be recovery day! I'll try to get a few of the many neglected chores around our house done, but sleeping in and a relaxing morning will be top priority.

Have a great time at the chat tonight, everyone!

YAY Its friday... not really I am supposed to go help my mom pack more (her and her husband are getting a divorce and she is moving to Edmonton in the next 2 weeks) We desperately need to organize our basement. I gave Doug & Jayden haircuts and now we need to go out and shovel the foot of snow we got, even though its still coming down! Grrrrr

Kathi,
We are doing a bowling part for my 7 year old and I was amazed how expensive it was! The only reason I'm really going for it is because I can't imagine having 10 7 year olds in my house for 3 hours! LOL! It's too cold and wet for them outside and I could just envisioning them playing baseball or hockey in my hallway, the way my two boys always do.

I'm actually on the hunt for a bowling kit, if anyone has seen one, so I can do his invites.

Yay for Fridays! I am ready to sleep in a few days!
We are supposed to get up to 65 degrees this weekend so we are cooking out and gonna get out of the house some, Thinking about hitting the zoo on Sunday. I am excited for a little bit warmer weather even though is only for a few days, calling for snow on monday...rofl.

TGIF....since as of 4 pm this afterrnoon I will be off until the 10th!!! YEAH...excpet I will be nursing a 2 yo back to health since she ended up with a nursemaid's elbow injury last night and we had to come in today and get it relocated {UGH}...poor little thing...she's at home hanging out with daddy now...{luckily I work at a hospital and she is seen here so I was able to get her in fairly quickly and get it taken care of}...but I do want to go home and finish up the last of the challenges {think I still have 2 or 3 left} and get them in before midnight....hope to be in the top 5, but if I ma not it was GREAT to do all the fun challenges this month!

I'm going to TRY and make chat tonight, even though I don't think I'm going to shop... going to try to wait for my rewards... LOL

Jeff works tomorrow and Abby has dance class... at some point I'm going to try to work on my Traci hybrid project I'm trying to finish up.

Sunday I'm going to be a slug and watch the race. :)

IKWYM. We are only inviting the cousins and our 2 best friends and their kids though so it won't be too bad.

I've seen a bowling kit before but I can't remember who made it... I'm too lazy to make an invite so I'll probably just call everyone and send out the invites the bowling alley gives us.
