Long story short...dh is in Seattle right now interviewing with Microsoft - they contacted him and he "passed" two different phone interviews and within a week they had him flying up there. I'm scared to death that they will offer him a job! hehe
I'm comfortable here in Nashville, TN. We moved my mom here (after my dad passed away) just last summer, and my dh's parents live up the hill from us in the same neighborhood. We have a nice house and a good elementary school (but not middle school). I have three boys - two 6 yr olds and one 9 yr old.
So besides leaving my extended family AND the huge cost of living increase...what is Seattle like? I've never been there.
When did you move there, where did you move from? How do you deal with the huge difference in housing costs - I mean how do you buy a house that costs 2.5-3X more than the one you have?!
I've looked at several websites with charts on schools, weather, etc but I need some personal input...I'm terribly stressed already and he doesn't even have an offer! hehe Oh and they want to move quickly on whoever they hire they said, so we'd have to move this summer I'm sure.
Help!
