It's all in good fun. :) I could just post the top 5 or so if that would make everyone feel better!! :) A lot of this is just plain luck, we have no idea what cheering sections these guys/gals have!
 
Okay, I guess I am stupid. But I am kind of confused how this point thing works. I had more guesses right this week, but my point total is lower than last week. Are we supposed to get three points for each person that gets voted off, or three points total for both? Last week, I was awarded three points per person, this week I got three points total (for guessing both boys right). Does that make sense?

I have a feeling I am missing something and someone just needs to hit me over the head and say DUH!

Hey Jenny- You got 6 points for THIS week, then it's added to last week's for 13 (I included everyone's overall points after the weekly total). Is that right for you? Hope that makes sense! :)

LOL - no, I am still confused...I do understand what you just pointed out. I guess my question is ...were the points tallied differently last week than this week. In your description, for both weeks, you say that there is a total of 8 points up for grab each week, but during the first week there were a few people that earned higher than that (9 points and 12 points).

So when I tallied my points for this week, I followed the same pattern that was used last week and figured my point total to be 9 points (based on how it was done last week).

During the first week, three points were given for each person that got voted off, which made for a possibility of 12 points. This week, it looks like you just gave three points total for boys and girls. For example, I guessed both boys that left and received three points, where last week, I would have been awarded 6 points (one for each boy).

LOL - I am not trying to be anal, I am just seriously confused and just trying to get it straightened out in my head.

I was wondering about that too. I only got three points this week, but had seven points worth of correctness in my post:

Sorry gals, I've seen this and will recalculate everything in the morning....just need to get some shut-eye for work. I have everything in a spreadsheet so it's possible a column was missed on the totals or something. Promise to have it all sorted out tomorrow. Thanks for your patience! :)

Hey ladies- The results are now correct. The excel spreadsheet I developed to keep track of all these numbers in the easiest way possible was off by one column, it's fixed now. Thanks for your patience!

Also, I started last week giving 3 points for picking a person correctly eliminated instead of 2 as originally stated in the instructions, I'll update the instructions to 12 possible points instead of 8 for the first week for picking both the bottom 2 girls and bottom 2 guys. Then there is still an extra point for picking someone in the bottom 3 (if Idol announces there's a bottom 3).
