Pinterest -

Can you all tell me what browser you are using? Im using Firefox and still can't figure out why I can't get the pin link to work. I did the shortcut that was suggested earlier but can't get things to pin that way. UGH.

I use Firefox. The way I do it is I get to the page where there is something I want to pin then click on Pin It in my bookmark toolbar. I then have a choice on which picture on the page that I want to pin and add other info.
 
I finally figured it out. My bookmarks toolbar wasnt showing up in Firefox so I had to go turn that on before dragging the pin it link to it. Its working for me now! YAY!
 
Anyone has an invite to spare, please? ;) I feel like I cannot stay away now that I've given it a look!


ETA: I am on, don't need an invite anymore. :)

OMG - just checked it out and (as if I need another site to browse endlessly on the Internet) I want in too!

I too have been sucked into the Pinterest world.. There is just so many cool things to look at, and I love that you can use it to pin pretty much anything. I have lists for how I want to redo my daughters room, her play room, and our bathroom.. also for inspiration of all kinds, photography, color everything! It is awesome!!
I also have some invites left if anyone needs one..
 
okay, I need another timesuck like I need another hole in my head, so I would like an invite please...

Ok, I'm just gonna come right out and say this.....I'm confused!!! I looked at the site and there's just a bunch of pictures. So you just scroll through thousands of pictures and pick ones you like and make your own bulletin board with them? Or do you "pin" things from the internet to your own board? Or does it put everything you pin on some big general board for all to see? Is your board visible to everyone else in the world?

I've been stumbling through, myself. I know that I've made boards and pinned things to them. I've also "repinned" a few things from the folks who I follow. The whole "follow" thing has me a bit confused. I'd love to see all the boards I'm following in a convenient place - or at least see the new stuff that the people I follow pin, but I'm not sure how to do that.

That's about all I've done so far. I really do like it, though. I keep going back to my boards rather than having to bookmark lots of sites.
