The past few years I've made calendars with layouts that I digiscrapped. But this year since I haven't been scrapping and was pressed for time I just made calendars with photos only. My husband said he liked the photos only calendars better. :mad: Maybe I shouldn't have asked him which ones he liked better. :p
 
Everyone has their own style preference. My dh likes the clean, graphic look too.
 
I also love clean and graphic. It does look great with calendars. I wouldn't take it personally. :-)
 
My husband likes scrapbook pages because of the journaling, but he'd probably like graphic LOs with only photos and journaling better than what I actually do. I definitely won't be asking for his preference, on calendars or LOs!
 
Maybe he said that because he thought that is what you want to hear... that is what my hubby does. Then when I call him on it to really make a decision, then he says he really doesn't have an opinion and both ways look great... :)

I've stop asking him for opinions... I now just go and ask my mom or if I want to sure I get a positive comment, I'll ask my son... he always says, "oh, that is so pretty mama!" :D
 
I just remembered something.

My husband hates digiscrapping period. Said he would be very unhappy if I ever went back to it (but that wouldn't stop me if I wanted to, heh heh). Apparently he views it as a huge time suck :p
 
lol...I was showing one of the guys at work my LOs yesterday and he picked out my Dear Santa LO and said, "I really like this one, but it would be better if it wasn't so open on the bottom, if you put more pictures there." :p I just smiled and nodded.

I think DH feels the same, but he knows if he said so, I'd knock him out or something, so he keeps his mouth shut. He knows what's good for him :p
 
And seriously, if this is how we like to "waste our time"... fine. Let us do it. After all, it is OUR time. Men.....
 
(Most) Men... do not understand scrapping. My dh tunes out whenever I bring anything photo/scrap related up.

I'm doing photo only calendar for my mama this year - and I actually feel bad about it, because I know how much she loves my scrapping. I just waited too long, and don't have the time to scrap all the months!
 
My husband refuses to answer questions like that. After 21 years he is naturally suspicious.

His first answer to to "Do you like A or B" is always

"Are you hoping for a correct answer to this question?"
