Favorite Hybrid supplies

Ok girls... Im getting my christmas wishlist together and I want to know what are your favorite hybrid tools/supplies that you use. I saw the thread that was posted a few weeks ago about basic hybrid supplies but I want to know what is your favorite beyond just your basic supplies. Ive been looking online and this is what Ive come up with so far:

Silhouette SD cutter (mom has already purchased this for me! WOOT! WOOT!)
Martha Stewart Score Board
ATG Gun
Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher
Crop O Dile Big Bite II
Cutting Mat
Xyron Create a Sticker
Quick Stick Pen
Tweezer Bee tweezers

Does anybody have the Fiskars Circle Cutter?
Are there any MUST HAVE Martha Stewart Edge punches?

What else do you use that you just cant live without?
 
If you are getting a Silhouette make sure you ask for any supplies (like blades?) that you would use over and over.
I don't know much about the Silhouette, but shouldn't it cut circles and borders (like a punch)? If so then maybe what you need to do that rather than seperate tools (I'm all for multi-taskers!)

Taper Runner/Double stick tape - never can have enough
Foam Tape - for giving your projects dimension
Glitter - maybe a set with a variety of colors in it?
Do you have a 12 x 12 paper trimmer? Those are a life saver in my book! I like the Fiskars brand with a scoring blade (again, a multi-tasker)
Zig 2 Way Glue Pen
Paper! Cardstock in a variety of colors of the base of your projects
Cutter-B fine tipped scissors
Extra Fine Tip Black Pen
Brown Distress Ink
 
These are awesome ideas! I am just starting to learn a little bit about hybrid, and these will be great additions to my Christmas wish list!!
 
From reading blogs, if you want to be able to cut out digi elements with the Silhouette, you will need software which is sold separately. :)

Looks like you have a good list starting...

Adding to Juli's list since it's very close...
glue dots
Mod Podge and foam brushes
chipboard and shaped albums
Rounded corner punch
prefolded cards and tags (for when I just need to do a quick card)
and of course the fun stuff... flowers, buttons, rhinestones, ribbon...
storage...transportable, unless you have a room dedicated.

I don't think this is correct, I used mine this weekend to cut all sorts of hybrid - you just need to use the original software not the new "improved" one.

Since you are getting the Silhouette, you might want extra mats, vinyl, rhinestones etc.
Do you have a good printer? if so, extra ink and paper?
Some type of scoring tool
distressing ink?

Oh that would be awesome if didn't have to buy another software for it in case I don't like the cutter. I'm still confused on what I need to cut with a Silhouette... I thought the software that came with it was just for their shapes... and I had to also get another software so that I could, say cut out a the Christmas Tree element in Traci and Meg's All that Glitters collection...
 
My basics and must haves are: Spellbinders Nestabilities die cuts and Cuttlebug embossing folders. You can find die cut templates on the internet for the electric cutters but what I like is I stamp alot, or print out digi word art, and I like to use these to cut out the word art in the shape I want for my project.

I love MS edge punches. I can't remember the names of them but they are all beautiful.

gift certificates to Michaels, Joann, and Hobby Lobby are always good so you can get these supplies on sale :thumbup:
 
Looks like you've got a great list going!

To save on ink and printer paper, I almost exclusive create cards using the card blanks they sell at the craft stores. I buy a few in each size whenever they have a 2 for $X deal (usually 2 for $5 for the smaller ones, and 2 for $10 for the bigger ones).
I can never have enough refills for my tombow tape runner (I'm thinking of investing in the ATG gun, just not sold on it 100% yet), and I go through dimensional adhesive/foam pop up stuff a lot too.

I LIVE for edge punches. They are by far my favorite craft tools ever.
I also LOVE my nestabilities. I have a nice little collection going right now. I usually snag them at Joann's with a 40% off coupon.
 
Not sure I can really add to the list you have here! I am with Juli, Cutter Bee scissors are a necessity, I have three pair! And like Col said, I can't ever have enough refills for my tombow tape runner, I tend to buy more when I get down to my last two or three. :p And I am always needing foam tape or pop dots too! Edge punches and nestabilities are definitely on my wish list, but I may ask for a Silhouette this year. My mom mentioned getting me a cricuit last year but I think I'd rather have the Silhouette. Ooooh, you are going to have a GREAT Christmas!!! :thumbup:

you can cut anything you can save as a jpg. I used it this weekend to cut labels for the tops of jelly jars that my husband makes. I designed them in PSE, saved as a jpg then opened in Robomaster (the silhouette software), Told it to find the outline of the circles, sent it to my printer then put it through the machine. I only just figured this print and cut thing out this weekend and I've had it a year! I also did 3 hybrid projects I need to take pictures of.

I think the Circuit you need an additional software to cut something other than their cartridges. I really wish the Silhouette would come out with a 12 inch cutter!
 
I have 2 pair of cutterbee scissors and I LOVE those!

I've been talking with my mom about the nestablities and think I might hold off on that for now. I want to see what I can do with my silhouette first before diving head first into more unchartered territory! LOL!
 
Wow, you'll be having lots of fun this Christmas. :thumbup: How cool that you'll be getting a silhouette....it's on my wishlist far far away. :) I am putting the Big Shot on my list this year for a start.

One thing I think I use on every one of my projects is some kind of ink with sponge daubers to distress the edges and hide the white cardstock I am printing on.

However, are you planning on using it for nestabilities more than anything else? Because Spellbinders came out with the "Grand Calibur" which is capable of cutting even bigger sizes than the Big Shot can. I pretty much only use my Big Shot for Spellbinders stuff, so I wish I had known they were coming out with this before I got mine. Just wanted to let you know, just in case :)

I love the nestabilities, so I have some of those on my wishlist as well as many of the Sizzix Tim Holtz dies. :)
 
I'm not sure how thick the tim holtz dies are, or is the Grand Calibur can fit them. I just wanted to mention it.
