Know what's weirder than seeing your own handwriting on someone else's LOs?

I'd love to make Andrew's handwriting a font, but he won't do it. He's convinced that someone would take it and try to steal his identity with it. :thumbdown:
 
Leila - my BIL won't do it for the same reason..even with a promise that I'd never put it in the shop or give it away or anything LOL

I promised Andrew that too by telling him I'd go with the exclusive. He's just not going to do it. I wish I could change his mind. I'd love to use it on the journaling he writes for me.
 
Let him know that I'd delete it from my PC the minute you've given final approval, the way I do with all the exclusives. Just in case that helps.
 
I've been wanting to do a font for me, but I've been nervous. I have not the nicest handwriting and what happens if its horrible when it becomes digitized???

I think I may take the plunge this week though.

Oh, do it!!! A font is going to look better than your actual handwriting because all of the letters are the same size. It's like a cleaner version of your handwriting.
 
so need to get my handwriting done... I purchased it like three months ago and it's just sitting there, mocking me... I hope i remember how to write... LOL! :D

I do my best to make it as close to your handwriting as possible. It's not something I just slap together and throw back at you, I promise!

My mom's has been sitting here ready to go for months, too, keep forgetting to scan and send to Dacry. lol
 
I have never thought of it this way... like it being weird to see your handwriting on someone else's layout. I guess b/c I've yet to get my handwriting done.. Either way I do love just about everyone else's writing way better than mine thus my addiction to Darcy's fonts!!!
 
I think everyone should get their own handwriting done! It is really awesome! Darcy does a great job!!

It is kinda crazy seeing it on other people's pages. When I first started using my font it was so weird to see :)

Me too! I bought mine on NSD, bought a new sharpie then the kids stole it and I keep forgetting to buy a new one. One day, I may get around to writing it out.
 
I have absolutely no problem when I see someone else uses my handwriting :) LOL, and what's more, Lena (Bella Gypsy) used it for a newsletter freebie! LOL! I was shocked! :D
 
I agree with y'all! Had been wanting to start a thread about this since a couple of days, lol! I knew it was gonna be weird seeing my handwriting on other people's layouts, but now that it's actually happening (the font got released last week, DJB Squirrel in my pants), I think it's really weird lol! But Darcy did a great job, it does look stunningly close. So, anyone out there still undecided - go ahead and get yours, you won't regret it! I'm actually thinking of getting my Mom to do hers, lol!

Oh good. I thought I was the only one. I bought mine and even bought a new sharpie but haven't gotten around to doing it yet.
 
Oooohhhh, we wouldn't be able to read DH's handwriting. It is HORRIBLE!

I have my print handwriting done by Darcy and LOVE it!! I soooo want to get my cursive writing done but it has been sooo long since I have written in cursive, I forget how!
