how do I get those converted to jpeg images? I don't have lightroom and I tried to open them in PS and can't open them! PLEASE HELP! I need to make a baseball CD today and I can't figure out how to get them as JPEGs!!!!!!!

Which version of PS do you have? I think you have to open them in ACR and then convert them to jpegs that way.

Ok just checked and in CS3 it opens them into ACR (Camera Raw) and then down in the left corner there is "save image" button and when you click on that it gives you your save options. Towards the bottom it says "Format", mine defaults to Digital Negative but if you click that it give you a list of options including jpeg.

thanks...I found a free convertor program and downloaded it :) and it worked!!! DH has been messign with my camera and changed my image format to RAW! uggghhhhhhh...he needs his OWN camera!

Haha that is why DH is not allowed to touch my camera lol! Not that he would anyway, he's afraid he'd break it and have to buy me a newer, much more expensive one lol!

I open em just fine in CS4....

DH would have no idea how to change anything with my camera, lol, he can barely figure out how to take a picture with it!

I'm guessing an incompatibility with ACR. I don't think the version CS2 can handle can read the RAW files from Angie's camera. I had that problem when I upgraded to an Xsi two years ago. I did have Lightroom though, so it wasn't as big of an issue. Once I upgraded to CS4, the problem went away altogether.

CS2 didn't come with the RAW plug in standard, you have to download it, you can google it :) It's a much more effective way to photo edit if you can get the hang of it!

thanks ! I really want to upgrade to CS4 and to Lightroom, but just haven't had the money :) I know shooting in RAW is the way to go...I just haven't taken the time to really learn...and maybe becuase CS2 wasn't opening them, I didn't really look into it any further!

I shoot in RAW and they open just fine in CS3. I remember though when I had CS2 they wouldn't open, I got a plug in or something so I could open them.
