Any NE Pats fans here?

I didn't watch the game though... yeh yeh, hey... I'm a fan by default here - so I can just pretend and cheer. :D I was too busy being a goof ball and WORKING.. woo I'm getting my butt in gear :D
 
DH is a huge fan....me not so much! Can't stand em! I love football, so I stayed up to watch it, but I really just can't stand them LOL. My team sucks right now though, but I'm not about to jump ship, I've been a fan for over 20 years! (yes, the lowly Dophins)
 
it was a good game, huh? We watched. I'm not a huge fan of ANY team, but I was happy for them. I got a little teary there at the end. LOL!
 
We were at dinner at the ILs....everyone there hates NE lol. I don't really care. DH always roots against them. BIL wants them to go into the playoffs undefeated...and then loose in the playoffs.

Of course they were watching...they just seem unstoppable near the end.
 
I'm not a big football watcher - but my husband was watching and I caught the 2nd half...for some reason I wanted them to break the record (even though I'm a Colts fan and we all know these two teams don't get along:)....and Tom Brady is a hottie in my book:)
 
I'm a 49ers fan (yea, I know - they suck). But I was happy to see the Pats go 16-0. Good for them. I just wish it had been my team instead... LOL!
 
Well considering I'm born and raised in New England you'd think I'd be a Pat's fan and I guess I am since if I watched football I'd route for them. I'm very glad they won and would love for it to be another 2004 where we get the Superbowl and the World Series! I also think Tom Brady is a hottie!

Whether you like the Pats or not, you have to be able to respect an accomplishment like that. I thought some of the best footage of the night was actually the clips from the 72 dolphins. Although it makes you wonder if some of it was sincere after reading interviews in the sports mags and news. Sounds like the Dolphins won't consider the 07 Pats "equals" unless they win the Super Bowl.

I am sadly a Bills fan. Went to the games with my Dad and Grandfather when I was a kid. You have to be loyal to be a Bills fan. LOL!
 
I think that's the thing... because the Dolphins did go on to win all the post season games and the Super Bowl. I think the Pats are more than capable of doing this same this year.

yah they did!! granted...it wasn't their first string since they are already in playoffs..but still

was nice to let tony play to break the record though..some players didn't even report to the stadium today

That's why you and I get along so well, ay Paula? ;) Seriously, been a Cowboys fan since I was a child...never been into the heart of Texas, just El Paso, but if all goes well and God willing, we'll be there next year in the summer..anyone live near San Antonio? (training camp, if they will be there, that is ) :D

P.S. Yes I know the boyz did bad tonight..UGH..it was like their minds were not 'there'...::shakes head:: :confused:

While I detest the Pats, I definitely give them the props they deserve, even if it hurts LOL. I don't consider them equal either, until they win the Superbowl, reasoning is, the Playoffs is a whole 'nother situation than the regular season. The pressure is different, kwim? I have no doubt they will win it all though, in fact, I will be shocked if they don't. But none of this means I will cheer for them LOL!

Since my team only won 1 game this year (hangs head in shame), I'm jumping on the Green Bay bandwagon for the playoffs. I love Brett Favre, always have, so that's what I think I will do! He may have beaten my man Dan Marino's records this year, but that just makes me respect him even more. Go Pack! LOL
 
That must be one of the reasons I wub ya!! =)) I wish I still lived there, but I'm in Nevada. I SO miss Texas - heat and mosquitoes and all. LOL
