I can't wait to see the new girls on KCB CT :)

I'm ok, really. Sad, but fine. But that was my 2nd try to join KCB CT and right now I'm feeling I failed BIG time. Maybe b/c I just :wub: her designs so much.
I'm not a hater, don't get me wrong, I'm, in fact, glad for the chance (Thanks, Kristin :)) and I know it's a bitch decision for her to make. Plus all the awesomeness of the scrappers who applied.
The thing is I'm feeling kinda embarrassed for trying this 2nd time... *sigh*


Oh, and pass the chocolate on my way, please! :D

I feel ya! Not that it was my second time applying but I've now been turned down by every designer here that has had a call since December. But I'll just keep trying, who knows maybe they'll just take me on so I quit applying or out of pity.

I can't wait to see who makes it, I bet they're some totally rocking scrappers!
 
I got a no too. Third time for me. Makes me sad but I kinda figured I would get another no. Guess Ill just try again next time.
 
I haven't heard yet.

I'm hoping they got my application and the email wasn't rejected for some reason........(believe me I stand NO chance but I'd love to at least get a response.)
 
I think it is just that she had so many apps it will take her a while to get through them all - that or you are one of the lucky ones and she is getting to you last! No news is good news right!
 
I still didn't get a response. I guess that means you didn't get my email. How frustrating! I checked my sent emails and I did send it. Don't know what happened.

Gisela, don't be discouraged ... I have applied for Traci's team in every single call she has had since I started digi-scrapping THREE YEARS AGO (except maybe one, I think), and I just got chosen this last time for a 6 month term.

Keep applying at every call, you never know when you may get chosen!

I got a no also. No skin off my back though......I am just going to learn some new mad skills so I can WOW her at the next CT call! :) Anyone got some mad skills to teach me????? :)

I can't wait to see who made it. I bet it will be one heck of a team!

After loads upon loads of chocolate I can say I'm not feeling embarrassed for trying anymore :D

I just wanted to say again what an honor it was to have so many apply and please - NEVER be embarassed! It really was SUCH a hard decision and it was agonizing trying to decide who to have come on and who to say no to - not easy by any means. :) Thanks again for everyone's support!
 
Girls, try not to be discouraged. I got a no too and it was like my fourth time to apply. I haven't been very lucky on the CT call thing lately. I stepped down from all my CTs in the fall due to school, and one of my designers recently had a call and I thought I'd get it, but I got a no. I think it's just that they only have so many spots and they have to choose who they feel would fit with the team, their designs etc.

My advice is to just keep applying to the CTs that you want to be on and work on making your style something that the designers can't live without. =))

Awe thanks! So do you. Seriously dude.....I stalk your gallery! LOL Well, I really need to get more comfortable with extractions and some fun brush work. I just need to change it up every once in a while. :) Anyways....thanks. You made my night! :)
 
Has there been an announcement of who made it? I was just curious. I haven't seen it but thought I missed it somehow. I want to congratulate the girls!!! I can't wait to see who they are!
 
I am dying to see who made the team. I was just making a LO with KCB's goodies tonight and started thinking about you all. I didn't apply because I am not courageous enough and I so admire all of you who did. I was on Kristin's team in the past and it is one of the best gigs in the digiworld. Her kits are so beautiful. You are all so talented. Don't get discouraged if you didn't make it this time. There will be other opportunities.
 
I think that Kristin is one of the most popular designers here and I can't ever imagine how many of applications she received!

Firstly I was sad when I got the "NO", too, but then I did a little big shopping at the store :) I see that so many of talented chicklets here weren't chosen, so I am curious to see the lucky ones who made it and wanna congratulate them :) And... also inspire a bit here and a bit there to get chosen next time! :D
 
I got a no too. :( Honestly I'm not surprised. EVERYONE loves Kristin's designs, so I'm sure she had a mountain of apps. I guess I'm just bummed because I've been getting rejected a lot here lately. It's kind of hard not to feel like a loser when you get so many no's in such a short time frame! :p

With that said, I'll continue striving to improve and will hopefully be ready for the next call. I'm a pretty stubborn chick, so I'm not gonna give up easily!
 
I too can add my name to the "no" pile. I skipped the chocolate for twizzlers. I can't imagine how many applicants she had thought. I do feel a bit down, its my 3rd no in a row from these wonderful designers. But I am too persistent to quit trying!
 
I got another no. I didn't expect a yes, but it was hard not getting a job and getting a no for the team in the same day. At least with the job, they told me they wanted to give it to me, but because I couldn't do the hours they wanted, they had to give it to someone who could.

Oh, and, girls, don't be embarressed. I have applied for nearly every single call here since I started coming here 2 years ago. I made 2 teams, both of whom stopped selling here about a couple of months later. I think this one has made me wonder though if I should still be applying. I think it might be time to step back. I was told a year ago I was really close and would start getting teams soon, yeah, hasn't happened. lol The most important part though is I like my LOs.
