It's March 20, the first day of spring..and what's happening in TX?

Yeah...try driving back from Amarillo through it! Ugh! We were headed back from Colorado on spring break and it took soooooooooo long! Who moved Ohio down here, we are supposed to have T-ball games soon!!! This has been the weirdest winter here hasn't it!
 
I just can't believe it. After getting snow on Christmas, and then the other huge blizzard in January, now this? Today I AM DEFINITELY taking pictures :thumbup: What a great photo for the what does March look like? Only in Texas!
 
Front Yard:

Wind has blown it off the trees so it doesn't look as bad as it is, and the ground was warm enough not to let it accumulate, so we can probably still get to church (nah - not gonna happen today, I'm sure).

There's about 6" of snow back there. Thankfully our apple trees haven't blossomed, yet.
 
I know! I am in the Oklahoma City area and we got a few inches also! Craziness! Who has snow in the middle of March? It is so strange - Friday, we went to the zoo in 70 degree weather and lots of sun. Friday night it started raining hard and got really windy. In fact, I thought it was more like tornado weather which would make since in the spring! Nope - then the snow started!!!! It is insane!
I hope it all melts soon because I enjoyed the TWO nice days of spring. I want more!!!! :)
Hopefully, I will be productive in the scrapbooking front since we are snowed in. :)
 
Well, on the N side of OKC, the ice in our parking lot has finally melted *YAY* for the sunshine! So I'm thinking I might get out and take some pics at the lake, because I will go nuts if I'm stuck inside the house all day long.

I am from the panhandle and we got several inches and it is supposed to be in the low 70's tomorrow! I hate winter! Just got an e mail that said we may even get a couple of more inches on Wednesday! Yuck! I have had a severe respiratory infection for three weeks and can't get rid of it thanks to this weather. Gotta love TX.
