Hi Everyone, I am a newbie so I hope I am doing this right! If not please tell me! :huh:
I am just starting out on my digi scrapping journey! I have made a couple of pages, nothing flash! I bought a couple of kits from the sweet shoppe and Jen Tapler from Scrappy Sunday on PCP told me you have a community! She said there are a whole heap of ultra talented ladies here! Great inspiration!
I am a papercrafter normally, but am finding it hard to fit in cards, 3D and scrapping so thought if I go digi with my scrap pages I might save time!
I am a mum of 3 and live in a remote part of Western Australia! I love to craft and dont go a day without it if I can help it!
I look forward to checking out your works and learning along my journey!

Now I already have a question. How do I reduce my file size so that I can upload them? I use photoshop, its an old version, and I save them for the web at 80 pixels (is that how you say it?) but they are way more than the size limit for photos on here....can someone help?.....like I said I am a total newbie, I am learning everything.
 
Welcome!! Do you see a File>>Save for Web? Then you can resize to 600x600 and there is a quality section... where you can scale it down to be under 150KB... hope that helps...
 
I have photoshop elements, so it's a little different, but... it has a "save for web" feature. I go to save for web and adjust the size to 600x600 and adjust the quality slider so that the size in 150kb or a bit less (usually around 75). That should do the trick! :) Welcome!

Where do I find challenges? I lurve challenges!
I cant get my photos small enough! Grrr. I can drop them all the way down to 10 and they still say that they are too big! i dont have a thing that lets me make them 600x600! Oh I feel so computer illiterate!! LOL

i save as a 12x12 page jpg first then i go to

image--image size--and change to 600x600 there (Might have to change the scale thing to pixels instead of inches)

then go to save for web--then there's a little arrow click that then follow the dirs in the images

then save! that will save it at the highest quality under 150kb
