Oh my gosh --Kellie Pickler

Because of the Olympics, my TV is actually on for a change and it's tuned into NBC which is showing Ellen right now. Kellie Pickler is the guest. She is freakin' hilarious and has NO idea....she think's she's telling us "true stories" and advice and all and she sounds like a freakin' stand up comedy act. I've never seen anyone so cluelessly funny.

I'm sure it's annoying in anything more than a few minutes at a time. I had to record it because there's no way Michael will believe me when I try to explain it.

I saw a clip of her on Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader recently. I don't want to be mean, so I'll just leave it at that, lol!
 
I love her, she's just genuine. I saw her in concert about a year and a half ago and she was the same way on stage.
 
haha she told the dryer/drivers license story last time she was on ellen..she's soooo funny

Ellen usually comes on at 4 here but during the olympics she's on at 11 so I got to see it..she's so funny

when she was talking about her grandfather singing boom boom pow bawahhaa and dancing by the DJ with his cotton balls in his ears *snort*
 
I'm watching it right now thanks to time-shifting on the satellite :) She's so funny...I think it'd be great if she was a Bachelorette! The show would be entertaining for sure! LOL
 
I can't help but think that half the time that it's just a big act because that's what she is known for, kwim?

How can someone possibly be that stupid, even when they are very pretty, and have managed to make it to 25 years old?! I mean, if she is truly that stupid, how come she hasn't been run over by a truck because she ran out into the street to pick up a shiny coin or drowned in the shower because she didn't know not to breathe in the water??

LOL, sorry, I've never listened to her music, or seen her on tv, but that is the funniest thing I've ever heard!! I'm going to have to check out youtube for some clips... I have no idea who she is...
 
I've heard a lot of people think it HAS TO BE an act (back when she first popped up on Idol). If it's an act, she is a pretty clever girl. If not well...let's just say I don't feel too guilty laughing at her expense.

I love Kellie Pickler. She has always been one of my favorite contestants from Idol. I dont think she is stupid at all. If you have never listened to her music you should because she has some really good songs.
 
Saw her on Ellen this afternoon and completely cracked up. I do think that it's completely her - she was the same from her early AI auditions until now. :)
 
I do not like her, she makes us southerners look bad. That is what annoys me about her. The whole calamari thing was way over the top to me. :)
 
Never thought about it like that. She is off the charts for even the redneck/hillbilly generalizations. I certainly don't think we southerners are judged by her behavior. I think most people realize she is way out there.

Yikes...I hated her on idol...and I still can't stand her. If she is putting on an act, then she's a genius, but I think she's just plain stupid...and I just don't have time for stupid people. Sorry girls...couldn't listen to one song she's ever done! (I don't listen to country at all though, so that could be part of it)
 
Sorry I missed seeing her on Ellen. Bet it was entertaining. What I like about Kellie is she doesn't try to be someone she's not, and lets her weaknesses work in her favor. She's such a positive personality even though her childhood was hard in many ways. She sure has been philanthropic since becoming famous, which I really respect.

Have to say I didn't know about calamari either...but I'm just another stupid, blonde, Oklahoma, southern girl. (Well, except for the master's degree and all).

Have to agree, the Bachelorette idea is fabulous! That would actually make me watch the Bachelorette :)

I actually am more in this camp too... :unsure: LOL! but I do love some country music. I just am not a Kellie Pickler fan..lol Must be missing something, lol
