dslr neck strap recommendations?

anyone got any personal recommendations (& links if possible??)for me? the standard canon dslr one can literally be a pain in the neck
 
This is the one I bought. I was able to pick out the 2 fabrics I wanted. It's long so the strap is a crossbody, which is wonderful. Love it! I also wear mostly green, black, and white so it will match my camera strap. ;)

Love the idea of the long strap for across the body. My camera with lens on it is pretty heavy and that's part of the reason I don't wear it around my neck so this would be better.
 
Mine is from the same place as Meg's.

I have a question for you girls that have this type, have you had yours slip? Like the part that holds the camera to the strap, the loop part. I've almost lost my camera twice. I wonder if I just don't have mine on the right way.
 
No, I've never had that problem with slippage. That might be the problem, that you don't have it on correctly.
 
PhatStrap!!!! I looooove mine. She sells on Etsy and also has a shop here. Definitely go for a strap with the minky lining... it makes it so soft and comfy!

She has the same wonderful neck straps.
But if comfort is what you are wanting the others above are right...etsy has a bajillion cute ones, many of them covers you can slip over your current strap. I had my aunt make mine. Totally worth it! Comfy and cute :)

Have you used the straps with a large lens? I'm getting ready to order a 70-200 mm lens and it will be heavy!
 
I have two different ones that I bought on Etsy, one is the across the body kind and then I have one of the strap covers with the minky on the back that I'm using now. The only thing is it is wider than my Canon strap due to the lens cap pocket (which only my 50mm cap fits in so unless I'm using that lens it doesn't get used), and the strap is always moving around on me which is a bit annoying.

I'm getting ready to order myself a Jo Tote (yay for tax refunds lol) so I'm planning on ordering a new strap to match too. I found this seller - Sugar Pop Creations - that has the same damask fabric that matches the lining on the Jo Tote and she also does the minky backing and I think this time I'll skip the lens cap pocket so it will fit snugly on my strap.

Sharon, I use my 70-200 and 70-300 with my strap by natalie and it works just fine. It's heavy but the strap holds up. Of course I always try to have at least one hand on my camera just in case... :)

Me too! I wish they would hurry up and get them back in stock. Which color are you going with. I think I am going to get the Olive.

I hope they have them back in stock soon too, it's early February so they need to hurry up already! I am leaning towards the Red right now, I really like the Bluebelle color but I don't like the lining fabric, I wish it had the damask lining instead!
 
I want this one. I dont have a DSLR but my camera is almost the same size as one so I think it would work because the strap I have is basically the same as this one


 
I haven't even put on the one that came with my camera I got back in November. I want a wrist strap though!
 
I can't find my old camera strap..I want to order a new one to match my bag lining (when I get it haha) but it's a cover....mine now is a strap not sure I could cover it..might try though
 
I want the red Jo Tote, and then a Phatstrap to match. But I don't NEED one, so I've held off so far, lol.
 
I got a sewing machine for Christmas, so I'm gonna attempt to make my own cover. If it doesn't turn out, then I'll be ordering one from etsy.
