6. October 2009- the day I woke up
Were you in a coma? I don't really remember that...
I LOVE this prompt because I have lots of memories that don't really deserve their own page but are still important to me. I had trouble limiting it to 10.
1. The summer before 10th grade talking with Craig Campbell about how everything would change when we went high school, and he put him arm around me and promised me that he wouldn't change...he then proceeded to spend high school in a drunken stupor.

2. The first time I went home in college only to find that I had suddenly become the queen of the world in my parents eyes and to realize that they actually weren't as dumb as I had always thought.
3. When I transferred to OBU and Dawn the girl tried to talk me out of joining her flag football team...and then became my vbff.
4. Trying out for the swim team my jr year of college, thinking I'd probably be pretty good...only to find out that they were nationally ranked and spending the next month learning how to survive daily drownings.
5. Going back to Jakarta a month after we first visited (and couldn't understand anything) and being able to carry on a conversation.
6. Stepping on a scale for the first time in over a year after we moved to Indonesia and realizing that my pants didn't fit because I had gained ten lbs...and the obsession with exercise and eating well that followed.
7. Looking at Jack for the first time and thinking, "THAT is what we've been waiting for?!"
8. Laying on the operating table getting my epidural to have Max and thinking that I was NEVER going to do this again because having to go six hours without eating was just unacceptable.
9. The first time I bathed outside in the village with a bak in a sarong...with an audience of like fifty people.
10. Waking up in our hotel room in Bali and realizing Jack wasn't in it...the worst fifteen minutes of my life were spent running hysterically over the grounds of the largest resort on the island trying to find my baby.
What can I say...I'm wordy.
