Who would be up to doing a Chicago Meet & Greet in July?

ME! ME! ME!!!!!

We live in the NW burbs....about 30 minutes from Schaumburg...I was just there Tuesday!!! Ohhhh, this will be so much fun!!!

I'd so be in if the time/money is right! Schaumburg also has Legoland! :) I'd have LUke and maybe even Joel, depending on if it's week or weekend.
 
I know I'm new here but I'd love to do a meet up in the Chicago area (and I do recognize a couple of y'all from other sites). I'm also in the southwest suburbs and would highly recommend the burbs over downtown Chicago (costs and arm and a leg to park downtown..lol).

I'm there!! But it depends on when it is... my hubby has a trip plan sometime toward the end of July.

Lush is next door to the Lego store. Legoland Discovery Center is something else and is at Streets of Woodfield. Streets of Woodfield is very close to Woodfield Mall.

:p fun ladies!! I'm about 6 hours out of Chicago. I'll actually be making a trip up there in a couple months maybe, there is a huge show at the McCormick center I go to every year.

You guys will have tons of fun meeting up!!

Up in Madison, WI. :) We go down to Woodfield a few times a year.
 
forgive me for totally crashing your thread but my college girlfriends and I get together every summer in Chicago. We used to go downtown - could always get a sweet hotel for $80 on priceline. We've been going to Woodfield area lately though and this past summer stayed at Staybridge Suites - two bedrooms and a kitchen/living area for undder $150.

You guys will have a blast! I love the whole Chicago-land area!
 
This sounds so fun! I'd definitely be in if I am at home that weekend. What about going to the Cheesecake Factory or something that's not found in smaller towns or "micro urban" places like where Emmy and I live.
 
I just got the go ahead from DH that we can swing through Chicago on the way home from my mom's. It's quite a detour, but yay! Plus my kids are a lot older now, they will enjoy it more. Totally stoked to take the girls to American Girl Place!!!! :thumbup:

Will update on dates once I know! :)
 
I'm 9 hours away (by car), but I'm trying to convince DH we need a weekend getaway. I'd love to meet all of you!

ohh that sounds so much fun!! :D Wish I was closer, ehheh :p... But if any of you were planning a long trip over Italy, I'd be in!! :thumbup:
