well it has to be photoshopped or (more likely) extensions.....I really don't like it. Although her short hair was getting really architecturally weird.......
 
Wow that's a change! I think it might be a little too young on her... like she's channeling Britney Spears.
 
Yeah - extensions, and to me, it looks obviously that way with all the short hair still there and the longer hair doesn't flow right in the fake wind. Not a fan. But I wasn't a fan of her old cut, either.

That was my first thought too. Now looking at it closer, you can see the older cut sticking out from the bottom! lol! Extensions!!!

She's a really beautiful woman, but she's always had wacky hair. She needs to find a better stylist! lol!

wow, looks better in Meg's link but still totally looks too fake for me... and I much prefer the View look... seems more natural
 
Forget Britney - (she has a much better weave!!) I think she is channeling Kim from Real Housewives of Atlanta!!!!
 
They are totally extensions, but I like it. I guess I'm an odd ball. If I had 8 kids, I'd need a new start too, lol.
 
The stylist who allowed her to get those should be shipped to island and have their shears taken from them..that looks so obvious. Martina McBride and other short hair celebs have done extensions and they have looke cute 'cause they were at a realistic length..this just looks tacky. ::RANT OVER::
 
Ugh I can't believe that stylist thought that was a good idea (and the article says he's from What Not to Wear so he should know better lol), it looks better in that photo but it's so fake looking! Now the way her hair was styled on the View was cute, I think that was her regular haircut but they just curled it in the front rather than leaving it all straight.
 
I'm not against her with long hair, I think it makes her look younger. But I sure hope it looks better than the cover makes it look.

What I want to know is when did People Magazine become the new US Weekly? Kate Gosselin is their top story? And Jersey Shore? Really?? :blink:
 
I don't like the haircut with her on the View. It reminds me of a cut I had 20 years ago, and when my dh and I were looking at pics of me with it a few weeks ago, we just chalked it up to one of those really bad hair years! I'm with Sheri...I like the new one better. It's a bad job, but I think she looks pretty good.
 
count me in with the minority - LOL - i don't think it's that bad! long extensions aren't my favorite - but i really didn't like the old cut! and i think she looks young and fun with longer hair ...

the view pic is cute from the front - but i still didn't like the backward mullet - her hair was too short in the back ... i think she should just have a cute bob ... probably b/c that's what i've had for the last 20 years LOL!

I'm rolling on the floor! Exactly! Why is Jersey Shore being hailed as a good show? IT'S NOT! It's terrible!
 
Wow, what a difference! I think I actually like it! -Not those particular extensions, it still looks kinda off... But I like her with the long hair. Not only does she look younger, but she doesn't look so harsh.

Or, on second thought, maybe it's just that she's really smiling in that pic too... She always manages to look PO'd at the world, so maybe that's part of why I like that pic and the hair. She looks softer.
 
Brie, I kind of agree with you on this. I don't particularly like the hair necessarily, but she's SMILING, not scowling like she usually is. I think that's what makes her look younger, she looks like she has life in her eyes again.
 
I like her new hair. It was probably cathartic for her to do this with all the drama from 2009 for her. I bet as her life gets more settled and she finds who "she" is again as a single mom we will see another new do evolve. I say good for her for making this change..besides...she looks much happier and younger.
