Anyone having a Christmas or New Years Sale??

I know curiosity got the cat, but I am SOOOOOOooo curious to know if anyone is having a Christmas or New Years sale here at SS?

This will be my first Christmas after having discovered SS, so I am not sure what normally happens. I just got some Christmas $$ from the DH's grandparents and I am hoping for some sales to spend some of it for new scrapping goodies.

Any hints at sales anyone?? :)
 
Sales at SSD are a rare thing, so there aren't any plans for anything storewide for Christmas. BUT be sure and check the forums on January 1 for our super sweet new Scrapper's Portfolio challenge system for a chance to earn up to 40% off in the store! :)
 
I can't wait to see the new system!!!

Any new babes coming along with the new designer or new year??

Thanks for answering, Libby! I will definitely have to play along in January. So no storewide sale for Christmas...any designers running any specials of their own? If so, I gotta make some time Christmas day to check'em out.
 
you might want to sign up for my newsletter :D i'll have something for my subscribers only.
 
I could be wrong, but I don't think there are individual designer sales here, at least, if there are, it's very rare. Sometimes there are coupon codes from other places (newsletters, etc), but usually the actual sales are storewide. Again, I could be wrong, but I've been around a few years and that's how it seems!

You can always check out penny candy though, that's always on sale and it's great stuff!

This is exactly right Sarah! You might find the occasional designer coupon from a feature at another site, but we don't have individual sales here. Thanks for answering!

I agree Penny Candy is a great way to get a sale price every day ... Saturdays have new releases at 20% off ... and if you save your $$ ... play along and do the challenges in January and in February you could get up to 40% off...now that is what I call a sale!!

I've been adding tons of penny candy items to my wish list and shopping cart today actually. :)

I can't wait to play along when the new month arrives!
 
After hanging around here for a good while now, I seem to remember February being a month where exciting things happen. :thumbup:

ditto! i cant wait to see what the portfolio is all about. Im kinda hanging for christmas and new year to be done so we can start! lol
 
It's hands down the most creative and inspiring challenge system I've ever seen. No lie. It's THAT good you guys.

One of my New Years Resolutions is to get involved more here at SSD...so I can't wait to see the new challenge system because I really want to give it a try. And I'm going to attempt Project 365 this year and I'd like to start a My Story album as well. So hopefully this new challenge system will inspire me with those.
 
I can't wait for the challenges either. I stupidly took October off from them forgetting how they don't run in November and December.
