Warning about Viovio

While I love their order quality, I have to post this email to you guys.

I did my SIL's wedding album through them and a gift for her. The gift had the first 2 pages duplicated, it was my fault. No big deal.

I ordered my SIL's album and someone took a page out of the book in their production department for no reason. Which totally threw off the order of the pages. When I got that book in the mail the cover was messed up, there was a white I just email them to see if it could be fixed, to see if the corrected book was still able to be fixed. This what they wrote me.

The cover you uploaded clearly has intentional white border that you uploaded as part of your cover. The error is that you are guessing about adding a white border so you can use a cute cover template that is unfortunately poorly designed because it offers no bleed for trimming or case folding. There is nothing we can do about this cover as it is exactly what you asked us to print. If you want a full bleed cover you MUST cover the entire page with the images.

Reviewing your customer history, you have dozens of emails in correspondence with us with nearly every order. It appears we are not the ideal solution for you and we recommend you find an alternate provider.

that's ballsy.

I had terrible CS with the only order I've ever made with them. I will probably however, stick with them, because although it takes a month to print & ship, I am poor and need the cheap alternative without sacrificing quality!

Exactly Lena, I use them because they're cheap and good quality. Other than the first book I had with them, I used quick binding and a page fell out, they have been great.

I honestly have never even heard of them before and frankly, if I had, after reading this I probably wouldn't be their customer anymore. What poor, poor CS!

I too have emailed back and forth a million times with every order I have with them... to make sure it's right! I have LOVED the lady that I have corresponded with (the same one each time) and this doesn't sound like her wording at ALL! Of course, I'm sure there are many people who email, but wow! they don't want your business apparently? I'm surprised, that's written with very little tact.

I've been dealing with Grace and she was super nice, but this order didn't add a name, just support. Makes me so mad!

Wow... that is really... uncalled for! I'd find out who the top person you can get a hold of and let them know... I'd also check to see if the BBB can help in any way... that is just not right.
 
OMG! That's horrible customer service! If I were you (if you haven't done it yet) I'd post about that on every scrap forum I visit so more people can see them and possibly go elsewhere for service!

Uhhhhh.... WOW! In 4 years I have never EVER told a customer we didn't want their business - not even the mean ones LOL :blink: That is AWFUL Vanessa!
 
Crossing them off my list. I like Inkubook's soft cover books. Amazing quality and they run sales often.

I swear my Inkubook... they do books up to 120 pages and their quality is awesome! Only problem is (right now) their largest book is 11"x11" (but their software does automatically resize your layouts when you upload them so you don't have to do it yourself!)
 
I'd be on the phone to them & getting that email to management. That sounds like a disgruntled employee who doesn't feel like making an effort to do their job. Probably part time holiday help. They should know what their employees are sending out.
 
Wow. Nice. I print with Artscow. Its slow cause its out of Hong Kong, but I have never had any issues with my stuff and its super cheap.
 
WoW just wow...Im reading that and I just cannot believe my eyes!! I cannot believe they wrote that. My daughter was in CS and she told me some stories about customers and no matter how mean they were she never was allowed to tell them off (not that you were mean). It is just surprising they did not even try to fix it and to tell you take your business elsewhere...well all I can say is WOW!!
 
amazing...well I haven't ever ordered a premade book...and I definitely will stay away from them if I decide to!

I like to put mine in scrapbooks where I can add pages in case I decide to increase the book!
 
Yes, Grace is the nicest ever. I would totally forward that email to her!! Maybe she could find out who sent it or do something! Crazy. I'm still going to use them because the price and quality, but I can't get over it! It's so rude!

Vanessa, so sorry for the trouble. We do want you as a customer :)

For order 65725 we can't change the cover because the order has been printed and is drying waiting to be bound.

Also, since I have you -- order 65665 is ok, correct?


But, it sill doesn't excuse the fact that someone was an ass. The sad thing is I'll probably continue to use them because they're the only company that holds up in quality to shutterfly, more pages and so cheap.
 
well that is better then nothing. I do not understand why someone would say they do not want your business before. Only happened to me once and that was with my bank.

this was gonna be a warning about a TV or something...duh me!:blink:
At least ya got ahold of someone that is helping you.
I think I will definitely be steering clear of them.
