Print in books or wait?

To print or not to print...

I'm looking through all of my layouts and thinking about printing them in a book. My 365 book from Jan-June turned out so good that I want a book of assorted layouts too. BUT now I'm wishing I'd have made two layouts per kit so the book would "flow" better. What would you/do you do?

ETA: I am going to try to scrap two per kit from now for the "flow" of a photobook, but not sure and wanted to know how you all do it.

I know that after seing Vanessa's awesome 2 pager albums, I started doing htem that way, but I would say just print the ones you have and then start with 2 pagers form here on out....I think it would be ALOT of work to go back and add a 2nd page to the ones you have already done...

x2 :)

Agreed, I would just print what you have done and move forward from there. The reality is no one but you is even going to know/care that the books could have been done differently. :)

My pages normally go into a themed book.In that situation, they flow, in a specific order....
but, since you are doing the 365, I wouldn't think that would matter, as it is a daily theme.

I participated in the DST recipe exchange. Every LO was scrapped differently (color, style etc) and the pages look super, as I click thru. Can't wait to print.

I agree with the masses... having the different pages puts more emphasis on the memory being scrapped... you chose that kit for a reason... either to go with the theme or with the photos... IMO. ;)

Actually what I want to print are just assorted layouts (I did SO well the first part of the year with 365, but this fall, life got REALLY crazy and so I stopped :( ) But thanks for the input ladies!

generally when I am doing "theme" books (i.e. robotics, scouts, etc.) I will do a 2 page spread with one kit...but turning the page, changes the kit.

Thank you! :)

I started doing 2 pages with each kit from the start pretty much, but I'd go ahead and print them and maybe start that way in 2010.

If you want to see my albums, they're all on my blog under shutterfly albums.

While I love the look of the two page albums...I tell myself that when I'm looking at a magazine, I don't care that the two pages match or not, so I say print away!

While I love the look of books that use the same kit for the layouts that are going to lay side by side, I don't scrap chronologically so I don't think this would work for me! I just scrap what I want, with what kit I want, print and shove them into a book in chronological order. I don't find the pages look bad next to each other anyways.

same... minus the "in chronological order" part. i just shove them in wherever. :D i'm just not into the matching pages, nor do i scrap 2 pages with every single kit. so it's not for me... guess i just prefer my pages to be more unique. i'm used to being the oddball though. :p

anyway, all that to say that i don't really have an opinion on how YOU should do your book... just do what works for you, that's all that matters in the end, right? :)

I struggle with this issue too. I prefer 2 pagers, and will go back and make the second page if I don't make it originally. the second page is usually a simple page, using the same BG as the first page and then just lots of pictures in a simple design.
