UNITE! :D :D

seriously though, this one just makes me mad. why doesn't this girl just sit down and feed her kid instead of having him dangle from her boob? omg! plus, i dont think 'letting it all hang out' is appropriate out in public. geez.

well as a momma that currently has a baby "hanging from her boob" I'll say 1). if you look on her right shoulder it looks like she has a blanket covering her and the baby in the front so all you are seeing is her back and 2.) I've see way more women in walmart in "normal clothes" that WERE NOT FEEDING THEIR child showing more boobs and butt cheeks then what this woman is showing!!!

oh, i wasn't hating against breastfeeding; i did my oldest. it just looks like that poor kid is just barely being held onto. thats what i meant.i did see the blanket. i guess i have more modesty than her; i wouldnt' want half my back hanging out like that.

didnt meant to offend if i did.

i'll never post about bf again, lol.

Ok....I am just shocked by that site. I saw this site a couple months ago, but I don't remember it being this bad. I don't shop at Walmart.....haven't been there in years....do people really look like this??? Do people really go out in shirts that have horrible profane sayings on them? I just can't believe these people.....

Awww.....poor little thing....!!! I breastfed all 3 of mine. Granted, I did sometimes make me a glass of juice or throw a load of laundry in the wash.....:p It is such a special bonding time between mother and child I just hate the thought of the stress that must be sensed by the baby being fed while Mommy shops. I just loved feeding my children in a quiet place rubbing their little cheeks and looking into their eyes. When I did have those times out in public when they had to be fed, I always found a quiet place to sit down, even if that meant I had to go back and sit in my car.

*shrug* Whatever floats her boat. It almost looks like the kid is in a sling or something though. I don't mind people breastfeeding openly at all... I would've... but that does look really awkward for that poor momma. But hey, maybe she's in a hurry or he's a fussy baby or something, y'know?

okay, I have fed Parker in Wal-Mart, JUST like that, except I was covered up a little better. He didn't dangle like that b/c I had a Hotslings sling I used for those occasions. But I've also football held him and Naomi both like that while they were very small, covered with a blanket, and dressed a little nicer, and the jury would give a less hateful verdict. That site is funny, but it's hateful.

My thoughts on this probably aren't very nice!

I do wonder if people purposely dress like this though (some...not all) just to get onto this site, since it does seem it's pretty well known.

sorry. i have offended a lot of people apparently. i was just concerned more with it looking like the baby was about to fall. i have no problems with breastfeeding in public. i just think she should have sat down. there are benches in Walmart, atleast there are in mine. that's all i meant. :(

I understand where you were coming from on this Corey. Your post didn't offend me, but I didn't see anything wrong with the photo... I don't think I ever would've done it this way (I bf all 4 of my boys...the last one for 3 years). I preferred to be sitting down somewhere, but my boobs were also so big, that if I couldn't hold them up a little with my other hand, my babies would've been smothered by them! LOL!

you didn't offend me corey - and I'm very pro-bf. I am however also very cognizant of whether I'm showing off the scary backfat while BFing....something the woman pictured does not even have on her radar....:p

Yeah, that's some picture! But I had to chime in and save the good name of walking and nursing Mommies. Here's me nursing Lauren 5 minutes ago. I wear a tank under my shirt so that I'm never hanging out like that. (And the chest showing in the picture is due to a low neckline, not the shirt being pushed away.) Forgive the terrible photos--I put her into the carrier to snap them, and she decided she was done nursing a second later so I couldn't take any more.

I walk and nurse because Lauren can fall asleep nursing and sleep comfortably in the carrier instead of being woken up when I get up and put her into a carrier or stroller. Not to mention the 2 active boys I usually have with me who would go nuts trying to sit quietly for 15 minutes while I nursed.

I love it Rachel!

Corey, you didn't offend *me*. I just think that site is ick. Of course I think it's funny, and can be pretty amused by off color humor, but I think it's very easy to throw stones...and I could see myself in that photo...both kinda fat from being post partum, being alone and trying to multitask, and trying to shop while nursing a very fussy baby...not having time to sit down b/c I have to be home to get Nathan from school in an hour...you get what I'm saying. I'm working on being less judgemental, this is a "me" thing. I have to work hard at it sometimes :P

its okay. sometimes if forget that there are people out there that really do have a problem with breastfeeding and you have to be careful how you word things, or you might be mistaken as 'one of them' :D. i understand trying to multitask completely, lol. i just can't get over how some people dress and act when they are in a public place i.e. WalMart, ,lol. they have the 'no shoes no shirt no service' rule yet i see half naked people on that site, lol. what is society coming to??

Ha! Ha! Ditto that with me! I had to do the SAME THING! Poor babies noses were buried if I didn't hold my boob back!!! :p

I couldn't BF so I don't really have a reason to be offended lol :) ... I'm kinda like Lena, I've been working on myself lately, trying to be a better person... and one of the things for me is to look at things more objectively and try to be more empathetic toward everybody. So when I look at that picture, I just don't see something really offensive... *shrug*

Corey, don't be sorry. I almost posted that picture last night. It had me ROLLING. I am all for breastfeeding in public, but that is OOC.

One comment on another photo said,
"I think president Obama should pass a stimulus plan providing everyone in America with a full length mirror so they can see what they look like before they leave the house."

I think the site is mean...

but I sure as heck plan on getting a cell phone with a camera when I go back to America! ;-)

{PS I think it's wrong to make fun of people for having big hair or a big butt, but if you wear a spray painted shirt proclaiming your love for beer & titties, you are fair game.}

lol! you and i would be buddies in real life in no time! you think like me! :D

LOL at the beer and titties comment. Was someone on the site really wearing that? (And I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Mr. Beer and Titties would not be so enthusiastic if he caught a glimpse of them being used the way they were in the first photo!)

Corey--I wasn't offended by anything you posted either!

lol! yah, people really do need to look in a mirror before heading out. i mean sometimes i have been known to leave the house with unwashed hair pulled back in a pony and maybe some lounge pants and a t shirt. but i know i don't look anywhere near as bad as some of those people. even at my walmart i have never seen anyone like some them on that site!
