Yay! Moving!

We're finally moving at the end of the month, DH is transferred (he's in the RCMP aka Mounties). We are renting a house (since we'll only be there 3-4 years, I don't see the point in buying), where we are allowed to paint ANY colors we want, and I"m completely stoked! Squee!

I get to FINALLY buy some new bedroom stuff, the girls have to move in together. I have to get them bunkbeds, and I am so excited (not sure if they are so much LOL)! I got these for their bunk beds:

I think it's going to look so cute!

But the best part is, I am finally getting a new set for my room, and this is what I picked out. It's SO shabby, and reminds me of scrapbook papers. I just HEART it!



We have to get Benjamin something new too, where we are now, he has a double bed, but he won't have space in the new house. We're getting him a loft bed, so he can put his desk underneath to save on space. Not sure what I'm getting him yet though. It's hard to shop for a 9 year old.

I cannot wait, I have NEVER been able to do this much stuff for myself or my home before! Woot!

I love the girls stuff too... I'm so jealous...I want a little girl... WAHHHHH! LOL!

So do you have an official moving date?
 
Where did you order those from Jamie? That set is EXACTLY what I'm looking for for Kaylee's room! So cute!
 
Yeah, the shipping was horrible. But I wanted something that I could get two of, and something they really loved. It was pretty much the only one they could agree on.
 
Super cute girl's set! My 4yr old DD is sitting next to me on the couch and saw it... she gasped, lol. Super cute. Where did you get?
 
That is so exciting....I love the set for the girls room but I am telling you right now I am in LOVE with the set you picked for your room.....BEAUTIFUL. Those are the colors I picked for my room and I already bought a bunch of material to make stuff. Now to find the time to paint and sew!!!
 
Oh how fun!! I can totally see why you are so excited (I would be too)! Now to convince DH that we need a new bedroom ensemble. It has been 7 years that we've had this one....that is long enough right???
 
Oh your girls are going to love their new bedroom. My question is where is the bedding for you from? My friend here in WA just asked me to help design her guest room and I really think she would dig that set.
 
Thanks guys, I just LOVE my bedroom set, the more I look at it, the more I love it! It's been about 5 years for us, so since we had to paint, I figured I'd go ahead and get something new for myself.

I ordered it from Sears.ca, which is in Canada. The brand name on it is Whole Home, not sure if it's available elsewhere or not.
 
That set is SEARS Jamie?? Wow, awesome. I'll have to remember that when DH and I redecorate. All I've ever seen in their catalogues are old damask stuff my grandma liked.

Congrats on the move. How far will you be from where you are now?

Yup, just click on the image I have there, and it'll take you right to it! There is a lot of ugly stuff there, but that one just stood out to me! I'll be about 3 hours further East than where I am now. Almost as East as you can get in North America!
