They do cut them off a little bit.

I actually stopped printing with Shutterfly awhile ago, but I still keep my pages there and fix the books because I like how you can share the links to the books. And if there is a fire or something I'll still have them somewhere and all I'd have to do it order them again.

I print with Viovio.com now, and I just resize my pages to 8.5x8.5 before I print and they turn out wonderful.

I forgot, I stopped printing with shutterfly because of the price, not quality. Viovio is just as nice and so much cheaper.
