:blink: I really really need an awesome knight kit!! I have tried to do a search in the shoppe, but the search resultat was well..kind of small hihih!
So if I could inspire any of the designers to perhaps do a knight in shining armor kit with this photo of my ds and my dh..that would ROCK! :thumbup:

OH! ME TOO! ME TOO!

Jack has been saying, ever since the day he turned four, that when he turns FIVE he will be a "shining armour". He constantly adds to the list of things shining armours can do. So seriously cute.

Anyway, I''d LOVE to do a layout about it AND I would love to do a knight-themed bday party.
 
I could use a Renaissance Faire type kit too- our family has a yearly Ren Faire & we dress up in the costumes that I make and all that!!!! I totally agree that someone needs to make a kit!! :)
 
I can do that!!! I've had a medival/knight/chivalry kit on my list for some time. A knight, shield, sword, horse, castle, etc - would that work? Mine would be more cutesy than Misty's gorgeous one though. Is that OK?

Fabulous!! And you suggestions sound fantastic, how about an armour and a dragon (!! - my son also "defeats" dragons hihi). And cutesy sounds really good!

May be you could have a tall tower for the princess to be rescued from too!

We're off to Warick Castle next year, and I used to live literally around the corner from Alnwick Castle, so I'm loving this idea! ...if you every come to the UK, definitely try to visit Northumberland to see Alnwick Castle - its perfect, and there are soooo may other castles, abbeys, fab market towns nearby too. I've added links just to tempt you :p
 
Heather - I'm sure you would do great with it! Too add on inspiration (maybe for color?) here are pics of my boys dressed as knights and a dragon at Halloween last fall.

I would love such a kit. Misty Cato's one has been great for formal layouts but I'd love one with cute drawings of knights and dragons. Maybe some of the elements could be "build your own shield"?

If I can figure out how to upload pictures to the gallery, I will post two small layouts I did with Misty's kit. It shows my son at LegoLand, where he is jousting with another boy.

Oh, and maybe a background paper that is all stone? Rounded and also squared off? Like you were in front of a castle wall or something? That could even be good for teens!

And a catapult? Maybe some stone walls to place here and there? Like in the UK--the ruins of the castles.

I am thinking this would also be good for the King Arthur area in Disneyland... where the kids pull the sword out of the stone?

crowns, swords, jousting pole, love the idea of being able to make your own crest. metal goblets, a suit of armor,

Greys and blues and also match browns(so that scouts could be fine)? At Legoland, the knights are blue and red sometimes, so maybe a scheme where the red knight or a red dragon would not clash? Some optional flames (firebreathing dragon or not) and maybe some torches?

lol, sorry, didn't want to ramble...

Yes! I could almost buy it sight unseen though- great idea girls! (Please have a prince and princess so I can scrap for both!)
 
Girls, I'm so sorry! But my laptop went caput last night - won't boot, nothing! I was working on an add-on for the knight kit when it happened. The laptop will have to be overnighted to the repair center, etc. So...I won't be able to release the knight kit this weekend. Please don't hate me or throw rotten food at me. I'll try my best to have it out for the following week (9/19).
