Ok, I am WAY excited about this because look at what I gave my hubby for Father's Day/Our 10th Anniversary-

yep, hubby and our 17 year old son are flying to Minnesota (we live in Oregon) for that Monday night game! My husband is a HUGE fan of the Vikings since he grew up back near Minnesota and he loves Brett, so this is just a dream come true for him. :) I'm like super wife now. LOL So be sure to look for my hubby in the stands! You can see on the map and on the pic where they will be. :) I keep going over to touch the tickets. LOL
 
Most of us here in Wisconsin are SICK of hearing about Brett. I hope your DH enjoys the game (and I hope the Packer's sack Brett every play ;) ).
 
Oye. We had the "breaking news" since 10 am or so that a Minnesota Vikings plane touched down in Mississippi and then took off or something like that. Some Viking players leaked it last night that he was going to sign. :) See what living in Packer Country is like?!?! OYE! There probably was Farve Tracker on him, too. Kinda like Santa Tracker around Christmas time... ha!

I knew deep down that his retirement was a HOAX yet again. He doesn't like training camp. HATES IT. So he was going to do EVERYTHING he possibly can to get out of it. :) Yet he loves the game so much and still can play.

I for one think it is GREAT that he's a Viking. :) I'm not a Packer Fan - never have been and really have no team - just anyone to beat the Packers. :P And yes, I have been born and raised in WI. Packer Packer Packer Packer is shoved down my throat 24-7 365. I get all the time "How can you NOT be a Packer Fan?" Easy. I'm just not. I could care less. In fact, I find joy on Monday mornings with the arm chair quarterbacking and the sadness and despair when they lose.

At least games will be a bit more fun to watch since he'll be in the divison.

I hope they'll HAVE FUN at the game though. It should be GREAT!!!
 
we're colts fans here so i don't know what Chad thinks of this, but that is an awesome gift! you rock! he better say thank you.;)

Better than that is when you move here from MN! Then it's "Ooohh so we've got a Viking fan here?!" :rolleyes: And then they say to DH something about converting me and blahblahblah... neither DH nor I are into team sports of any kind so we're both just like Yeeeah :blink:... whatever. lol

ETA:... Favre is just a retard... in general.

Yeah - totally get how you feel. It's like YOU (not you, literally, you KWIM) are the lame one. When in essence it is a really lame question.
 
Julie, they will have a blast!!! It it will be great to have the chance to see Farve in action IRL...even if he is past his prime and should just retire all ready. I'm sure the move to the Vikings is to simply throw it in the Packer's face. That is going to be SOME game!!! I'm a Packer Fan so I can't wait to see Aaron kick his butt!!! (hopefully ;))
 
lmao...I bought my brother tickets to that game last year and he just called and asked for that again cause he's actually a big Packers fan. So my brother will be there, too.
