baby announcements

Hi ladies!!! I wanted to pop in and say that I had my baby boy 2 weeks ago. I have been super busy taking care of him and our 2 year old. My DH went back to work already so I feel like I am barely surviving.

I had a quick question though... Is there a site where you can upload your own baby announcement design and have them printed on card stock (like you would get if you ordered baby announcements online) instead of on photo paper?

I hope that makes sense :)

WHCC is White House Custom Color. www.whcc.com
You have to fill out a questionairre to become a client, but don't get scared by the questions about your photography business. Just leave them blank. You don't have to be a pro or have a business to use them (I just got my order confirmation on my 5 free test prints with them, I'm so excited!).

I checked them out a year or so ago and got scared by the registration process, so I'm glad it's not as bad as it looks!!!

Becky, congrats on your new baby! How exciting!!!!

I did the same thing Sheri! I asked about it here in the forums last week cuz I really wanted to try one of their products for the wedding. Lots of non-pro girlies said they've used them for a while and didn't register as pro's or put in the biz stuff. I finally got my test prints submitted last night, so I'm super excited to get them back soon. Might be just the incentive I need to get some prints made to fill up the 49320849302 empty picture frames we have laying around :p

I plan on using WHCC for ours - whenever this kid shows up. Their standard paper is a shiny cardstock. You can also pick the watercolor paper which has a nice text or the pearl kind which is really pretty too.

Good luck!

If you have a local Staples near where you live- I believe part of their printing services include cardstock printing. My local store has all sorts of printing options- and it's cheap to get a cardstock print- like $.05 or something like that!

Congrats on the baby! I hope you're recouping well!!!! :)
