Did you wanna see my newest photobook? (Viovio)

Check it out! I had another book printed through Viovio. You can read the full review here but I'll give ya the short version here:

I ordered the 10x10" book. I LOOOOOOOOVVVVEEEEE this size! I've always thought 8x8 was too small and 12x12 was too big. This size is perfect, IMO. Only downside to the 10x10 is you can't do a custom casewrap photo cover.

Printing... awesome... check out the closeups....

PRICE: absolutely phenomenal!!! I ordered a 10x10" book with 62 pages. The TOTAL cost (INCLUDING SHIPPING) was only $41.78

Looks great!!! I totally agree with you on the size thing. The 12x12 is so big and the 8x8 is too small!

What size did you make your lay outs? Did you have to resize when you uploaded? Was there much cut off?

That looks great!
Here's a question for you.
Have you calibrated your monitor? Do you ever notice that when printed, the layouts are either too dark, too bright or too saturated?
I'm wanting a photo book so bad but afraid that my layouts will be off when printed.

I haven't calibrated my monitor, but my book was pretty true to what I saw on my screen. When I ordered through MyPicTales my book was really dark so I printed some pages off at Costco to check if it was my monitor but it was just MPT's printing.

I did resize my pages, but you don't HAVE to with Viovio. You can upload your 12x12's and order a smaller book with them, but you need to take into account BLEED and the gutter. You can read all about it here. The pages I uploaded were 10.25x10.25.

I really need to get a book made. I've got 2 8x8's sitting in my account over at shutterfly, I just haven't got the time lately to sit down and get my layouts picked out and uploaded.

Whoa whoa whoa Cindy, what the heck does scrapping chronologically have to do with anything??

You have gorgeous layouts! Throw them together and stick them in a book for goodness sake!

I'm anal, I like my books year by year and ordered by date LOL.....I do print them all out at Costco though!
Thanks for the nice compliment!! :)

Megan that is AMAZING!! I will have to check them out. I am like Cindy tho... not a chronological scrapper and it would drive me CRAZY not to have them all in order!! Wonder if they sell 10x10 albums anywhere...hmmm...

That looks great Megan! If only I could do shadowing half as good as you do...

I ordered a book from them and was happy with it, but the colors were a little muted. But seeing your book makes me think that maybe it was just a one-off thing, since the color looks pretty vibrant on yours. (I don't think it's my monitor since my Inkubook turned out great and my single page prints turn out fine too.) It's good to see some that turn out well - it makes me consider giving them another try!

I did love the 10x10 size too, and I thought their binding was very nice, but the logo on the back of mine is pretty awful too. You'd think they would at least be able to print their logo ledgibly :)

This is absolutely gorgeous! Of course it helps that you create such beautiful layouts and your shadowing is spectacular! It looks as though your ribbons and embellishments are real and just popping right out there....
