(not sugarbabes, but kids!) I guess it's my fault for explaining too much to my kids, but they are always saying something that either cracks me up or embarrasses me, but this one is a REAL gem. Please share YOUR stories too so I can laugh at someone else!
I was trying to do the 30 day shred (darn you Annie for mentioning it to me because it seriously kicks my butt
) and Marley notices I'm using small weights. She says "Mom, you're doing it too easy, you need big weights". Just what you want to hear when you are working your tail off. Then my son Jaxon comes up and asks what I'm doing. I reply "I'm exercising" He wants to join in and I explain this type of exercise is to lose weight, and that the exercise he can do is just to help him grow stronger.
So flash forward to today and a green tea weight loss commercial comes on- you know the one that starts with 2 HUGE bellies walking across the screen and my son says "Mom, I think that's what you need." WTF??? Apparently, it says something like do you have unwanted belly fat and need to lose weight he heard "lose weight"... or so he says. I said "Do you think I look like that?!?" and he replied "I don't THINK so...", but still...
I thought I just needed to lose a few pounds from the thighs and butt! Now I need to teach him what NOT to say to women!
