Designers...would really like another Disney inspired kit

Ok...my Disney PhotoPass pictures (edited so far) and my personal photos for our Walt Disney Trip this month total over 2,000 pictures.

I need more kits!

I think it would be fun to have a Lilo & Stitch inspired beach kit...we went to Typhoon Lagoon water park and Stitch was there...plus we went to Clearwater Beach.

I am open to other ideas. Maybe a Toy Story inspired kit?

I also would love a Jiminy Cricket one...but not sure HOW that could be pulled off.

Any suggestions on what kit would work for my Indiana Jones Stunt Show pictures? How about the stunt show with the cars and blowing things up?

I am making a 12x12 album for each of the two boys and one for myself...that I might like to have a Disney princess type of kit. Luckily my Disney Photopass will let me put princess mats on my pictures...so it would just be the paper and elements that i would need. This was our 25th wedding anniversary...so I want OUR album to be more magical and romantic for a few of the layouts.

Thanks for reading...and for any suggestions.

WST also has a fairytale collab with several different princess kits that might work for some of your Disney pages. I picked up the Cinderella one a while back and it has some cute elements. :)

Amanda (Heimann) has a fun Disney-inspired kit! Here's the layout I did with it:

Wait.
You're going to scrap all 2,000 photos?!?!!?

I'm confused...

...you mean you wouldn't???

Well I figure between 3 separate Disney books...I will prob use a variety of pictures.

Actually with the PhotoPass...it allows me to save the original pictures (I think it was only like 83 pics)...and then add different borders to each of the photos and save them. So maybe on one picture ... I might use one photo with "mickey" border in Tony's book...but in Brian's book I will use that same photo with the "stitch" border...and in Mine I might use the "princess" border. That is why I have so many in the PhotoPass now.

My own personal photos was over 1,400 photos...I think I have them all downloaded now except maybe the return trip home.

I've got some from Brit-tish, Glenda Ketcham, SeeBees, and Kim Lund....but I can't use those for challenges here...I was hoping for kits from Sweet Shoppe so that way I can use them for challenges and get the pages done!! Other than the Alzheimers challenges running this week...I pretty much only do challenges here now...so I find myself primarily only using kits from Sweet Shoppe.

Thanks ladies! ...so any of the designers want to make a Stitch inspired beach kit??? pretty please? ...so many pictures to use with that...

Oh my goodness, NO I would NOT scrap all 2,000 photos!

Hon, there are weekends where I take 300 photos and I'm lucky to scrap 5 or 6 of them! I would 100% burn out on a project if I tried to scrap that many photos and that many albums of the SAME TRIP. I barely make 1 album for 1 trip!

Obviously we scrap very differently, lol. But I honestly can not even FATHOM attempting to scrap that many photos. I mean, sure you took 2,000, but are they really ALL that good? I know that a lot of mine from any given session aren't.

Just because you TOOK 2,000 photos, doesn't mean you have to SCRAP 2,000 photos, lol.

Sharon, there are approximately 843092843092 beach and summer inspired kits in this store. You really HAVE to HAVE a Stitch beach kit??

I agree with Col, I could imagine scrapping that many pictures of one event/vacation.

But Sharon, I would keep an eye out for Libby's new kit this week. It might be what you are looking for.

NO WAY!!! LOL!! You are totally cracking me up.

I will do books with a lot of photos in them, but I'm pretty picky about the photos used. I'd never be able to use them all!!

You can also use kits that aren't particulary "themed" for Disney.

I used La's and Sir Scrapalot's kit A Springtime in Paris

for these layouts of my niece.

I know that some people scrap only the 'good' photos, but I have no problem scrapping not so good photos if they tell the story of what I am scrapping about. So while I wouldn't use all 2000 photos she has, I would use a large amount of them. I would also make the same album for all 3 people, just change up a few pages so they all have their own special page. I, too, love to have themed kits that match what I am scrapping. Maybe its dorky, but if I am scrapping about going to an ice cream shop, I like to use an ice cream kit. I can use other ones, but I like to use the theme ones. And, Sharon, I personally don't think its possible to have too many Disney kits. :)

I would never have thought of that kit for Belle photos. It's stunning!! Sharon, you have to grab that one!

Sharon I hear ya on the billions of Disney pics, I have a TON and we only spent one day there!

I totally think you should keep an eye out for Libby's kit this week, it'll be perfect for Stitch pix! Also, have you seen this one? I made it for our Disney Vacation last year.

I think a Toy Story kit sounds cool! You wouldn't happen to have Shawna's Techno Grunge kit do you? It's perfect for Buzz Lightyear but it's retired now. Dani and I have this one in the store that would be cute with Buzz Lightyear too:

oh and Dani has this SUPER cute Cowboy kit that would be PERFECT for Woody!

P.S. Feel free to scrap as many pics as you want and request as many kits as you want too, you know we all try and strive to fill our customer's needs, hehe :) We all scrap differently and with different kits, that's why there's so much variation out there!

I'm not trying to come down on Sharon at all. I'm honestly amazed that she can scrap that many photos! More power to her! Lol!

I'm not either!! I like to use a lot in my travel books...but I am not that great of a photographer, so most don't make it into my books!!

I did want to show one more layout (thanks Traci for the reminder on this kit) of Dani and Traci's kit Outta This World

space2web.jpg

again...not a "Disney" kit, but was just what I was looking for!

ETA: I also have just about every Disney kit put out...so I'm not saying that I don't buy Disney themed kits!!

Traci...I never even thought of using your "Easily Amused" kit for Disney photos! Ok...moving it over to my Disney folder!!

lol I was just kidding...but the boys chose to buy 12x12" scrapbooks (usually I do 8x8 but I just bought a wide format printer) so they could have more pictures on a page...versus an abundance of pages. so I will be making use of those templates that hold a lot of pictures...or scraplifts from challenges that have multiple ones. I RARELY do one picture on a page...and no they aren't all good...but I took a LOT of good ones. I love my camera!

oh but of course...I love Stitch! We got our pictures taken with him twice...and just thought it would be so cute for the pictures.

Well this was an extremely special vacation. It was not only our first real family vacation...but it is our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It will be a whole scrapbook dedicated to this vacation. Which reminds me...I need to take pictures of the Disney Trading Pins the boys collected! I forgot.

Oh I can't wait to see it!!!

oh how pretty those layouts are!!

Well I'll have to see when I get the PhotoPass CD(s) how many I will actually use. ...but there are some rawking photos with some special effects on them! I love the special "Mother's Day" posed photos the photographer did with my boys.

Wow you are so like me!! That is how I planned to do the pages for the books too. I like themed kits as well...and use them about 95% of the time...thus my reason for such a large collection of kits.

I don't think it's possible too have too many Disney kits either. lol

I had even thought about on some "identical" layouts just switching out the kits to make the pages look different in the different books.

Oh I can't wait to see it...I just love all the designers here...you all rock! Yes...I have both of your kits...have you done some Disney layouts with it by chance? I'll have to pull them out to use them with the pictures! I had used the Outta This World kit with robotics layouts.

No I missed the Techno Grunge kit.

That does look like a cute kit. Oh I loved the Toy Story 3D game/ride...and just blew my 13yo ds away...I BEAT him on that game...and I don't ever play video games other than ones like Word Jong, Yahtzee...you know those fast movin' games. lol I wish I had some pictures of that ride...do you know if there are any online that are good enough to use in a layout?

I have pictures of my son having a Toy Story birthday party when he was younger...and those were "film" pics...but I wouldn't mind scanning the pics and scrapping it in digi. ;)

Thanks so much!
