I just did Day 1 of the 30 Day Shred... and omgoodness!! I have ZERO energy for the rest of the day and its only 1!

I don't even think I can open a can of soup for Ava's lunch, let alone get her in and out of her crib, lol!

Burning is good right?? LOL!
 
Is this that EA Active for wii? I'm curious... I need to lose this rear and thigh I picked up somewhere! :)
 
Mine came in the mail today (I got The 30 Day Shred, Biggest Loser Boot Camp, and Biggest Loser Yoga for $7 on E-Bay!) and am still scared of it. I think I am going to finish the 30 Day Challenge on my EA Active, and then tackle The Shred or Boot Camp.
 
I tried the 30 Day Shred for a week, but didn't stick with it. I'm going to attempt it again soon!

This reminds me that I bought that dvd. I need to go make sure the chemicals are right in the hot tub before I try it - it sounds like I will need it. LOL
 
Still haven't tried it yet, but I did the Biggest Loser Boot Camp last night, and it was pretty...intense. I definitely felt it!

Make it through day 3 and you're in the clear... I promise! Okay well... I don't promise but everyone who's done it says that after day 3 it's not so hard :D

Nope - the 30 Day Shred is a fitness DVD by Jillian Michaels (one of the trainers on Biggest Loser). The DVD has 3 levels (I believe - I can't find the DVD so I'm using YouTube)...

You're probably thinking of the 30 Day Challenge through EA Active (the Wii game)! I've heard that one is awesome too, I just don't have $350 for a Wii & a game (but its on my list!).

not doing any of these videos but yesterday I hit Kickboxing at the gym and I thought i was going to pass out! I love the class always have but when you havent been in awhile it totally kicks your butt! I am sore today!
 
Oh, one more thing... since starting 30DS 2 weeks ago, I've lost an inch and a half on my hips and an inch on my waist! :D I refuse to own a scale so I dunno if I've lost or gained weight... all I know is that I feel good! :thumbup:

Thats awesome Annie!!! Have you been doing anything else (eating, other exercise), or is that weight loss solely from the 30DS?? Either way, that rocks!!
 
30-Day Shred is the only exercise I've been doing (except I did replace it with brisk walks a few days that my back was hurting me)...

But as far as food and stuff goes, I'm not doing anything real fancy. Drinking more water and cutting the sweets/refined junk is the biggie for me, I think. I have a big sweet tooth so it's tough, but at least this time of year has lots of fruit in season so I munch on pineapple and grapes and such. Oh and eating slower... that's a huge one for me too, I tend to inhale food. :o
 
I REALLY want to go pick up this DVD. I'm already starting to get a little burned out on the exercise bike, so it'd be cool to have something else to do too. I really need to work out a rotation so I don't get bored with my workouts.

ETA: Annie, that is some seriously awesome results babe! Kick butt!
 
So I bought this tonight. I'm not overweight, but do have a bigger pear shape than I used to. ;) I thought... "I need to lose a few pounds and really work my butt and thighs"... ok... so level 1 day 1.

I'm DYING!!! I have low muscle tone and know I'm not fit, but holy God. I have never worked out so hard without a break in my life (and that includes two labors ladies!) I think I lost 5 lbs of sweat just tonight.

Here's hoping I can physically do it again tomorrow. I'm not sore (yet) but man... apparently I need serious cardio, arm and chest work (I could barely do those!)

The only thing that kept me going was thinking "I'm 5'8" and 145 lbs.... these BIG 400 lb people are doing this on her damn show so I CAN'T GIVE UP!!!!"

WTG! Stick with it... it's like she says, the results don't come for free! It gets easier though! Stretch for about twice as long as she does on the video and drink an INSANE amount of water afterwards, IMO it helps a lot :)
 
Thanks for the advice Annie. Today I woke up and I have just a little soreness in my muscles (which to me means I've had a good workout) but my knee hurts. :( One freakin' day and I've hurt myself. If it feels better tonight, I'll do it again, if not, I'll sub 30 minutes on the treadmill.
