Favorite 80's movie??

I cant sleep tonight so Im watching Footloose which is defenitely one of my favorite movies from the 80's. I mean I love the soundtrack and love Kevin Bacon so what could be better? :-) What is your favorite movie from the 80's?
 
Hmmmm I have a couple I like to watch over and over....Dirty Dancing, Breakfast Club and of course the Big Chill.

I LOVE Shag too! My all time faves are 16 Candles (we would always play house and Jake Ryan was always my boyfriend LOL), Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Less Than Zero (yum Robert Downey Jr.), and of course The Goonies.
 
Oh thought of another one:
Valley Girl-not the best movie of all times but OMGosh Nikolas Cage looks soooooo YUMMY!!!! That was the beginning of my huge crush on him LOL.

I love Dirty Dancing, but I don't think of that as an 80's movie...mostly because I was already married and out of college when it came out. LOL!

Anyone ever see St. Elmo's Fire? That came out after TBC, but I can't remember if I liked it or not. LOL!

G2---had that soundtrack LOL...although looking back, it's definite cheese...'make my stamen go berserck'!!??! LOL

CS---LOVE THIS!!

Mannequin---groan...saw this more times than I care to recall, and not by choice

AIB---forgot all about this one, and I have it on DVD too


OH, and Lucas! I love that movie!!
 
Oh these are ALL awesome movies, was it technically impossible to make a bad movie in the 80s do you think.... hmmm nah Arnie made some monstrousities (sp?) didn't he but I can't help but love kindergarten cop!

Does anyone remember the dark crystal I loved that movie! xxx
