Ok Purse whores, help me find one!

My purse is falling apart and need something sturdy and cute. My requirements are $40 for the price, brown and not anything huge, preferably with a strap that would fall at about my hip. So, show me where to look please!
 
Do you have a Kohls near you?

I splurge on purses...not sure I know where to buy a good one for cheaper than $100...I'd try Kohls..they carry Nine West which is a good quality brand purse
 
target! .. lol well it depends what you want specifically. I'm a canvass bag type of gal.. LOL. I bought a really cute one there the other week for super cheap. I do not like to spend lots of money on purses ^_^
 
I change purses too often to spend a lot! I agree that Kohls is a great place to get a purse! I also like Marshalls.
 
I'm like Meg. I had my most recent purse custom made on Etsy, and my other main purses are Coach. I *big puffy heart* a good purse :)

Old Navy has some cute bags sometimes, and Kohl's has TONS of great bags. My mom and sister got awesome bags there the other week on the clearance racks.

Purses are my indulgence!
Also, try Macy's (formerly Foleys here in the South) and T.J. Maxx. I always find good purses for vacation in these two places.
 
I live in Canada but everytime I go to Florida I have to make a trip to TJ Maxx .... I always find the cutest purses there!! Last one I got was a Ralph Lauren one for about $40....SO cute!
 
Other than Kohl's, TJ Maxx also try JC Penney's if you have one, I've found some cute bags there also.

You buy the bag and then there are tons of cute shells for the outside so you can totally change the look of your purse in seconds! They also have different handles so you can change those out too. My friend recently had a Miche party but I wasn't able to buy one since I didn't have the $$ at the time, they are much cheaper if you buy through a rep rather than online. At my friend's party you could buy the bag + 2 shells for $69.99, bag + 4 shells for $99.99 and bag + 6 shells for $129.99. I'm going to have to save my $$ so I can get one!

OH MY GOSH!!!!! That is SOOO cool! I LOVE it!
 
I work at Brighton, so all my handbags retail for over $250...but I would try Kohls, or our JC Penney store has a HUGE selection of handbags. I'm sure the price is right too. I love to look at them when I walk by, but since I wouldn't be able to carry any or them into work...I just keep on walking!

ETA: I remembered that a friend had a REALLY cute one the other day that she got at TJ Maxx. I do remember it was under $40, and it was all leather...super cute!! I'd go there if you have one nearby!

I have one, you can have it if you want! LOL! Seriously though....its small but has lots of pockets for things, it has a long strap for over the shoulder falling at the hip and its never been used (I got it when I got my black one and never changed to the brown one)! Course I'm more of a pragmatist when it comes to purses so I don't know if I'd call it cute, but it isn't ugly either LOL!
