Prayers Please!

I'm still in shock right now! But, my Mom's best friend just died about an hour ago! She & my mom had breast cancer at the same time & all their chemo appointments were together & everything. So, this is just really hitting home w/my mom. My Mom's cancer is gone. But, Mrs. Dawn wasn't so blessed. Her cancer spread to her shoulder. Then last week we found out it spread to her liver. This week we found out that it was in her lungs. She just went so quick! She has 2 daughters, 21 & 16. Please be in prayer for this family! & for my mom! She's really taking it hard! But, what was so hard for me, is I had to be the one to tell my mom. She hadn't heard yet & thought I was joking when I called her. ANyway. I'd really appreciate any prayers!!! i'm just sitting here completely shocked by all of this!

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that

I'm only 24, and 2 of my classmates from HS both had mothers who passed away from breast cancer really close together... it was such a shock and always is.

My thoughts & prayers will be with her family today. I hope she finds some great comfort.

I want to say it was at Southern Regional, but I'm not 100% sure. It may have been Henry Medical Center.
