We use wheat bread for most everything and I bought some white the other day cause it was on sale and my turkey sandwich tasted especially yummy!

I made a grilled cheese on whole wheat when I ran out of white once. I gagged the whole time. Now if I want a grilled cheese, I have to go buy a loaf of white because we eat whole grain for everything else, lol.

I LOVE wheat bread!! I don't ever buy white bread, unless it's sourdough, and even then I prefer the cracked wheat sourdough at Trader Joes!! Even my boys don't eat white bread!! I had some once (can't remember why I bought it), and my youngest asked me if I could NOT buy it again! It was sticking to the roof of his mouth when he ate his sandwiches, and he couldn't deal with it! He was probably in jr high then!

Maybe it's the wheat bread you get. I used to make my own and I even ground my own wheat! (not any more though). That was the best bread in the entire world!! Now, it is the Harvest Whole Wheat from Trader Joes.

We are another household of wheat bread only......I don't think I've ever even bought a loaf of white bread. I know I can't remember the last time I ate it....... even growing up we only ate "brown bread".
