we live right down town Phoenix. Walking distance to the light rail!! Woohoo, j/k. Still haven't given it a go yet. We keep looking at houses in Avondale area. We both want to stay central but the houses are cheaper on the out skirts. Like Avondale, Buckeye, Queen Creek, Maricopa. Those places seem sooo far away. I know they are not though.

I live in South Chandler...we are as far south as you can get and pretty close to Queen Creek. When we first moved here, I really felt like we lived out in the boonies, but the area has grown a lot since then.

Rae, I dont know where you guys work or need to be daily but if you dont mind the drive, Verrado out in Buckeye is soooo pretty. It's got a total small-town feel and it's right at the base of a mountain so it's cooler and breezy there. We'd love to move but they dont have houses big enough for us there.

My brother works for the City of Maricopa fire dept. We went there to a park for his daughters birthday - it was a really nice little town.

Any AZ girls going to Nascar this weekend?? I will be there. PM me and I will give you our RV space number
